Yes, that's it! Then you pick your colors and phrase and your card is done. Easy peasy right?
Here's how to make this fun card:
Supplies
Stamps:Tropical Chic (cling-148226)
Inks:Memento Pad (132708)
Paper: Whisper White (100730), Crumb Cake (120953), Granny Apply Green (146990), Crushed Curry (131199), Poppy Parade (119793)
Other: Gathered Leaves Dies (150662), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), SNAIL (104331)
Measurements:
Crumb Cake: 8-1/2” x 6” folded in half; finished card dimensions are 6”x 4-1/4”
Whisper White: 6” x 4
You will need scraps of the following: Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Crushed Curry & Poppy Parade
Instructions:
Using the smallest of the leaf dies from Gathered Leaves, die cut 4 leaves out of the scraps of cardstock. You will have 4 leaves, in 4 different colours. Set aside.
Use the same die to cut four leaves down one side of the Whisper White cardstock.Watch the placement so that you have enough room to cut all four without leaving too much/little space between each one.
Stamp the ‘Thank You’ sentiment from Tropical Chic onto the Whisper White cardstock, using Memento Ink.
Attach the Whisper White cardstock to the Crumb Cake base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.Don’t be stingy because you need to ensure that the entire panel sits off of the base, especially around the leaves.
Use SNAIL to glue the coloured leaves through the die cut leaves on the Whisper White cardstock onto the Crumb Cake cardstock.
In today's video I am going show you how to create a very easy but quite pretty Thanksgiving card using the Painted Harveststamp set and Come To Gather designer series paper.
Cards don't have to be complicated to be pretty. You can choose your colors and papers carefully to create a gorgeous result. On my card below I added a very thin layer of Early Espresso card stock under the top Come to Gather paper layer to make it stand out a bit. And it helps to pull one more neutral coordinating color into the mix.
After you created your design your next step is to think about embellishments. On my card I chose to create and punch two leaf images using my Leaf punch. Aren't punches so much fun to craft with? No fussy cutting or die-cutting machines needed! (although I often combine both!)
Here's my card - don't miss my video below:
Stamp set: Painted Harvest
Ink: Early Espresso, Pretty Peacock
Paper and cutting dimensions: Early Espresso: 3" x 4 3/4" Whisper White: two pieces 2 1/2" x 2"; 2 1/2" x 1" Come to Gather: 2 7/8" x 4 6/8"; 4" x 5 1/4" Pretty Peacock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Other: Leaf punch (144667), SNAIL, Copper Trim ribbon (144179), Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
Here's my video - watch for some additional tips along the way!
Even though I have already shared four videos with gift ideas for your child's teacher I can't resist sharing this super cute card idea today too.
I LOVE punches because they make crafting so quick and easy. So any time Stampin' Up! I spot a punch in a new catalog, I stop and take a good hard look!

In today's video I am going to show you that our catalogs are also idea books! I got my inspiration using a Come to Gather card I spotted on page 46 of the Holiday Catalog.
I often get inspiration for my design starting points from our fabulous catalogs, and I hope that you realize they are idea books as well as catalogs.
So when I spotted this card idea I decided to use it but change up the stamp set used. I love the Colorful Seasons stamp set so that would be what I would use instead. This set has a match pack of dies which makes crafting a breeze:
Although my card photo is a bit dark, I hope you can see all the layers and embellishments clearly enough. I feel that all these elements make it a stand-out design!
Under the card photo is a list of supplies, a set of directions and a video tutorial!

In today's video I am going to show you a second teacher gift idea that would be perfect to give to your children's teachers on the first week of school this year. As a former teacher I would have LOVED getting a gift like this, as there were many times when I wished I had cards like these on hand to use at a moment's notice.
I am going to feature the Notecards & Envelopes pack...
The idea is that you would create a set of notecards with matching envelopes so the design would be kept simple but still be really cute. The notecards pack has twenty pre-scored cards and envelopes in a bit smaller size which also helps keep the design process easy.
Last week I created another teacher gift idea (click here to see the project and video) and I used the Follow Your Art paper. As this is a second idea for teachers I decided to use the same paper. I love the colors and designs - they are so fun don't you think?
Here's my project and video below. Keep watching the video to the end as I show two other card ideas using the same products so the final gift idea would be a coordinating pack of three notecards!
Paper and cutting dimensions: Whisper White: 3 1/2" x 2 1/2"; 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" Calypso Coral: 2 3/4" x 1 3/4"; 3 1/2" x 1 1/4" Follow Your Art: 1" x 3 1/2" Basic Gray: 3 1/2" x 1 1/2"
Other: Notecards & Envelopes (131527), SNAIL adhesive, Layering Ovals framelits (141706), Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Follow Your Art designer series paper (149489), Die-cutting machine
Here's my video tutorial. Watch for a companion video on my YouTube channel showing you how to create a companion pocket for these cute cards and envelopes!
5 simple steps you say? Why, yes I do say! Create stunning mosaic tile designs and floral imagery with shiny, transparent accents using the Mosaic Mood product suite #152172 ("I want it all!"):
Or, if you are on a tight crafting budget simply get the Memorable Mosaic stamp set and Mosaic Mood paper:
The card below was simple to create - only 5 simple steps and it is a stunner with its unique cut-away front layer ! See a full set of instructions under the card photo.
What does this card make you think of? I think of Japan with this style of artistic design and color choices! This is a great combo choice if you want to make beautiful but simple cards. The patterns speak for themselves; all you have to do it stamp a couple of images, a phrase for the occasion you need and you are done.
Supplies:
Stamp Sets – Memorable Mosaic (149226)
Card Stock – Whisper White (100730); Mint Macaron (138337); Garden Green (102584)
Misc. – Mosaic Mood Designer Series Paper (DSP)(149478); Classic Label Punch (141491)
Measurements:
Mint Macaron: 4 1/4” x 8 3/4” scored at 5 1/2” 3” x 8 1/2” scored at 4 1/4”
Garden Green:: 3 1/4” x 4 1/2”
Whisper White:2 3/4” x 4” x 2 pieces
DSP:3” x 4”
Instructions:
Adhere the DSP to the front panel of the Mint Macaron card base and using the Classic Label punch, punch a “channel” in the center
Adhere the Garden Green piece to the inside of the card base
Add one of the Whisper White pieces to the inside of the 3” x 8 1/2" Mint Macaron (this “card” should open from the left) and center it on the Garden Green
Stamp the “weeping willow” in Mint Macaron and the trunk in Soft Suede. Add the Thank You sentiment in Garden Green onto the second piece of Whisper White
Add here the stamped piece to the front of the Mint Macaron Panel and tuck into the channel created with the Classic Label punch
This stamp set phrase is so true, isn't it? And it is certainly worth featuring on a card too. So I did.
But, first I started with my paper choices and card stock layer and card base. Right now I am pretty much in love with the Garden Lane paper, no wonder why.
It is more, for me, about the paper designs rather than the greens, but maybe they work so well hand in hand. So I chose two designs to match together and layered each onto a larger piece of Mossy Meadow.
Then to make my Waterfront phrase stand out and to also match the pattern in one of the papers, I created two squares in a diamond layer.
Misc. – SNAIL adhesive (104332), Die-cutting machine, Stitched Shapes framelits (145372), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104330), Tear & Tape adhesive (138995), Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack (149485), Garden Lane designer series paper (149488)
Measurements:
Pear Pizzazz: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”
Whisper White: 2” square
Garden Lane - two designs each: 3 7/8” x 2 1/2”
Mossy Meadow: 5 1/4” x 4”; 2 1/2” square
Magnolia Lane ribbon: 4 1/2” strip
Instructions:
Fold Pear Pizzazz cardstock in half to create card base.
Using SNAIL adhesive, attach two pieces of Garden Lane paper to Mossy Meadow layer.
Attach two strips of Tear and Tape adhesive to the back of Mossy Meadow layer. Peel off covers. Lay Magnolia Lane ribbon across center of card front and adhere to Tear & Tape on the back.
Using SNAIL, adhere Mossy Meadow layer to card base.
Ink phrase using Mossy Meadow ink and stamp onto Whisper White card stock.
Using die-cutting machine and Stitched Shapes framelits, die-cut the two stitched squares: the Whisper White phrase (diamond layout) and Mossy Meadow, using two different sizes of rectangles. Adhere ‘diamonds’ together using SNAIL.
Adhere diamond layer to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
In today's video I am going to show you how to use some of your designer series paper to make a beautiful thank you card, although you can change the phrase to suit any occasion you need. My card is part of a series of recent posts showing you how to feature bold paper designs on cards.
If you want to see other posts featuring bold paper designs, click here, and here.
For my card below, I chose the Garden Lanepaper and used a larger piece as a card front layer. I love the combinations of greens in the designs; I think it is the first time Stampin' Up! has done this.
You can use any of the following colors to perfectly match: Garden Green, Old Olive, Mint Macaron, Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow and Soft Sea Foam. How cool!
When making cards, think about how you can add unique, eye-catching elements. For my card I chose to use the Scalloped Tag Topper punch so that my phrase will stand out and be a free moving element on the card front:
I also decided to stamp my tag to add extra interest, using the lovely Verdant Garden stamp set. Then the phrase which I created using the Well-Written framelits.
Here's my card - I included a video and a full list of supplies and measurements underneath.
Stamp set: Verdant Garden (149460)
Ink: Mint Macaron
Paper and cutting dimensions: Mint Macaron: 3 3/4" x 1 7/8"; 2 1/2" x 1" Whisper White: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"; 3" x 3 3/4" Garden Lane: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Mint Macaron: two strips 4 1/2" each plus extra for the bow
Other: Die-cutting machine, Well Written framelits (148534), Scalloped Tag Topper punch (133324), Braided Linen Thread (147808), Mint Macaron 1/4" Textile ribbon (149480), SNAIL adhesive, Linen Trim Braid (147808), Mini Glue Dots
In today's video I am going to make a beautiful thank you card with the help of my Verdant Garden stamp set and a set of new framelits that I just received this week.
These new Stitched Rectangle framelits are perfect for the window card technique as they add a nice faux stitched border around the window, adding visual interest. The key to this card is choosing a designer paper pattern that is lovely to look at and then choosing a stamp that coordinates the paper with the card base.
Here's my card and don't miss a photo of the inside plus my video tutorial included below.
Stamp sets: Verdant Garden (149460), Love What You Do (148042)
Ink: Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz, Memento Tuxedo Black

Other: Tailored Tag punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Write Markers (Pear Pizzazz and Petal Pink), Tear & Tape Adhesive, Stitched Rectangles Dies (148551), Die-cutting machine
I think it is very interesting that when you open the card you see a completely different patterned paper on the inside! I also am showing you one idea for stamping the inside layer as well.
In today's video I am going to introduce the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and coordinating dies to show you how to make a beautiful thank you card. You can take this idea and make any kind of occasions card you need!
I love the Magnolia Lane product suite not because it is one of our top sellers in the new catalog but because of the variety of products that you can create with!
NOTE: You can actually buy ALL of these products as one complete bundle to get everything in the photo above - use order #152178
My card looks complicated to make but was very easy as my video below will show. And if you love to color this is the perfect bundle for you to consider!
Here's my card, I posted the inside below. (hint: check out page 36 in the Annual catalog to see how I got my idea!)
Stamp set: Good Morning Magnolia (bundle with framelits (151087)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper and cutting dimensions: Crumb Cake: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Vellum 'card', trim to: 4" x 5 1/4"
In today's video tutorial I am going to feature two retiring embossing folders, and combine them to make a beautiful and easy to create thank you card. I also need to say goodbye to the Bitty Blooms punch pack so am going to make fun flower embellishments to make my thank you card a stand out.
It's time to say a sad goodbye to Petal Burst and Petal Pair so what better way to do that other than use both of them for my card.
These two embossing folders are now discounted so click the shopping cart image on the right side of this blog post to place your order before they are gone for good!
I was inspired for the colors of my card by a left over sheet of Needlepoint Nook paper - also retiring tomorrow - I love the bright colors in this paper and the happy feeling I get when I craft with it. From this patterned paper I chose Poppy Parade and Crushed Curry for the layers and elements, and then I created the 'thanks' phrase from the Well Written framelits pack. I love this pack of words and images and know I will certainly get my monies worth out of it in the coming year.
Watch the video under my card to not only see how I created it but also for some extra tips along the way!

The All That You Are is going to retire at the end of this month so if you love these images and the card I am sharing today, don't wait - place an order for it today so that you have it for years of crafting fun. (Click on the stamp set image above to link over to my online store)
I also like this card idea because you can change up the Stampin' Blends colors for a totally different look!
Try these other color combos:
Poppy Parade & Granny Apple Green
Daffodil Delight & Call Me Clover
Flirty Flamingo & Soft Sea Foam
Balmy Blue & Mint Macaron
and so on! There are so many possibilities!
Remember to use either the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad (my fave) or the Jet Black Staz On ink pad when you stamp the main image so that when you color the flower and leaves your colors don't smear!

This week's Paper Craft Crew card map challenge is actually a color challenge - which color is your favorite?
Hands down my favorite color is Lemon Lime Twist. And I am so sad to have to advise you that this color is retiring on June 3rd so if you love it as much as I do you will want to stock up on card stock and accessories well before the retirement announcement happens - once it posts these colors will fly off the shelves instantly.
I chose Daffodil Delight as my mystery color, and along with Coastal Cabana I created a soft and beautiful friendship card idea. For the stamp set I used Bloom by Bloom, one of my favorites in the Occasions Catalog.
I used the larger images on the Whisper White card base because the colors or more soft so using large images won't be too 'in your face'. For the phrase I chose the Beauty Aboundsstamp set - another pretty set in the Occasions catalog:
To complete my card I used two embellishments, a butterfly from the Beauty Abounds set and a single Lemon Lime Twist Glitter Enamel Dot.
Here's my Bloom by Bloom friendship card:
Now it's your turn: try our color challenge the next time you craft! If you want to see what the other design crew members created for this challenge, click here to link over to the Paper Craft Crew site!
This is a 'Two-Step' Stampin’ set which means you combine individual stamps to create the final image you want in the colors you want using Stampin' Up!'s coloring tools.
And the images are so gorgeous when stamped that you don't need a lot of extra embellishments or layers to make a very pretty card, like the one below
