How to get 4 beautiful cards from this 1 technique

Today I want to show you how to create 4 beautiful cards from 1 sheet of cardstock. This technique is super simple and can easily be adapted for any occasions you need. What can be better than making 4 cards in one easy step?

 

For my 4 From 1 technique I am going to be using the Cheerful Daisies bundle:

 

 

You'll love everything you can do with this bundle. We are going to be using the solid images, perfect for quick stamping in one color. The other images in the set are perfect if you want to add detailed color. Use the open line-art images, perfect for watercoloring.

The flowers, stems, and leaves in the dies are all separate so you can create a single stemmed flower or fill a landscape with a bed of flowers and greenery. There's also a label die so you can cut out a stamped sentiment and add it to your cards.

Measurements:

• Blueberry Bushel 6 ½” x 4 ½”; 7 ¼” x 1”; 4 ¾” x 1”; 4 ¼” x 1”; 2” x 3 1/8”
• Boho Blue 6 ¼” x 4 ¼”; 2 pieces 2 3/8” x 1 ¼” (for cutter); 2 pieces 2 ¼” x ¾” (for scissors)

• Basic Black small scrap for cutter

Instructions:

1. Adhere the Basic white 6” x 4” to the Boho Blue 6 ¼” x 4 ¼” and then to the Blueberry Bushel 6 ½” x 4 ½”. Do it for both pictures. Adhere them to the 12” x 12” Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.
2. Cut out and apply the letters to the Blueberry Bushel pieces. Adhere these to the right side of the page.
3. Cut out 2 Paper Trimmers using Boho Blue Cardstock. Also cut two of the cutting blades using Basic Black scraps. 
4. Cut out the two pieces of the Country Inn Designer Series Paper 2 ¼” x 1 ½”. Insert these into the cutter. Add the black cutters with a dot of glue. Adhere to the page.
5. Stamp the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel on Basic White and cut out using the middle Something Fancy die. Also cut out the largest size in Blueberry Bushel.  Adhere the sentiment on the Blueberry Bushel piece and to the scrapbook page.
6. Cut out two pair of scissors. Adhere the pieces together and add to the page.
7. Add your pictures and you have a scrapbook page ready to go.
8. For a double page spread, just reverse the pictures.

There are so many possibilities in this set and matching dies, but I decided to go simple and to play with two new In Colors: Wild Wheat and Copper Clay.

Instructions

1. Cut Garden Green card base 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score at 4 ¼”. Cut Basic White panel 4” x 5 ¼”. Cut Garden green panel 2 ¾” x 4 1/8”. Cut DSP 3 ¾” x 5”.
2. Use deckled rectangle die to cut center from previously cut Basic White panel. This is a paper saver as you won’t see the hole in the cardstock once it is covered by the DSP.
3. Adhere Basic White panel (with hole) to Garden Green cardbase. Adhere DSP to Basic White panel (this covers the hole).
4. Stamp branch in Memento Tuxedo Black and color with Pebbled Path and Granny Apple Green Blends. Stamp greeting in Garden Green.
5. Use blending brush to lightly add Lemon Lolly ink to area of card where monkey will be adhered. Adhere to Garden Green Panel. Adhere to card with Dimensionals.
6. Stamp monkey and banana in Memento Tuxedo Black on scrap of Basic White cardstock. Color with Crumb Cake, Copper Clay, Daffodil Delight, and Lemon Lolly Blends. Cut out with Paper Snips and adhere to card with Dimensionals.
7. Embellish with Adhesive Backed Solid Gems.

How to thank someone in your life for their kindness and friendship

Adorable hedgehogs mingle with flowers, butterflies, forest mushrooms, and birds in the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set. Combine the images to create a playful scene to adorn scrapbooks. Or create a card to thank someone in your life for their kindness and friendship. It's so easy—stamp the line-art images on a card front, add the sentiment that expresses your feelings, and send!

 

Today I have a simple but beautiful card idea using the Happy Hedgehogs set, along with instructions on how to make it below.

Instructions:

1. Fold Basic White card stock in half and score to create card base.
2. Emboss card front using Raindrops Embossing Folder.
3. Die-cut Basic White layer using Scalloped Contours Die.
4. Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp tree, mushroom, and butterfly images onto Scalloped Basic White layer.
5. Color tree, mushroom and butterfly using Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.
6. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, attach scallop layer to card front.
7. Ink phrase using Parakeet Party ink and stamp onto Basic White scrap. Attach to card front scallop layer using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Are you ready for fresh new colors? I sure am!

Every few years, Stampin’ Up! refreshes their core color collection to keep current with the color trends in fashion and home décor industries. This is the year they have chosen to do this and we have a total 11 different colors in the core color families. Seven of these colors are returning from previous years, many of which were favorite In Colors. These are Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Misty Moonlight, Pretty Peacock, Blueberry Bushel, Lost Lagoon, and Fresh Freesia which is one of the just retiring 2021-2023 In Colors. These are scattered throughout the color families.

In addition, there are four delicious totally new colors - Azure Afternoon, Pecan Pie, Lemon Lolly, and Bubble Bath. Check them out!

Add to these 11 new colors in the Color Collection, the 5 new 2023-2025 In Colors and you have a total of 16 new choices. Wow! That is a lot and can be very expensive to build your new color collection when you consider cardstock, ink pads, markers, Stampin’ Blends, and embellishments in the new colors. My suggestion is to start with your favorite color family, be it Subtles, Regals, Neutrals, or Brights, and fill in the new colors of that family first. If you have been a fan of Stampin’ Up! for a few years, you may still have many of the returning colors in your stash. That’s great! I had all of them.

Check the ink pads to see if they need reinking. Hopefully you had purchased refills at the time you bought the pads. If you don’t have the refills, you may want to replace the old pads because the new refills may have a slightly different color than the old ones or the old ones may have changed color slightly over the years and will not match the new refills.

Instructions:

1. Choose the letter for the monogram ~ yours or a friend’s.  A set of note cards makes a great gift!
2. Stamp the letter using Versamark, add Silver Embossing Powder & emboss on a scrap of thick basic white cardstock.
3. Cut the letter out with the six-sided die.
4. Adhere the DSP to the notecard using the Multipurpose Glue.
5. Tie the ribbon around the front of the card and tie in a knot.
6. Add the monogram letter using Dimensionals.

I am happy to see tags 0n the challenge because I don't use my Tailor Made Tags dies often enough and I am delighted that they are NOT retiring. 

And as I was thinking about this week's challenge I decided to layer my tag feature, using the Hues of Happiness paper (retiring):

My first try at this sketch was too plain looking for my design taste so I decided to use the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder on the card base and strip - love how it looks! 

Put these products all together (along with the Hello Irresistible stamp set phrase) and this is what you can make!
