Today I have a new page in my World Traveler Digital Photobook to share with you - reflecting my summer here in the US. Although my original intent was to only scrapbook photos about my experiences in and around the Netherlands part of this year's journey required a trip back home so why not include photos here too?

Yes, I have another page in my World Traveler Digital Photobook to share with you today! 

It highlights a second page about a rainy day trip to a local museum called the Humanity House. I snapped a few photos inside both of the experiences and decided to make two pages for my photobook.

I really like this page because it is the first time I have started to play with other embellishments in My Digital Studio - ones that are not part of the World Traveler kit.

Spring brings refreshing and fun colors and the patterns in the Endless Birthday Wishes Kit are perfect for making little packages of treats to share!

 

The above boxes were created by one of Stampin' Up!s amazing concept artists and she share how she make those cute boxes using her e-cutter:

The patterns in the Endless Birthday Wishes kit are scrumptious! They remind me of rainbow sherbet or salt water taffy. I wanted to make a small, simple treat box using the papers.

 I started with the box template from the Mini Projects Boxes, then I layered the box #1 stamp brush over the DSP (designer series paper). I recolored the stamp to Smoky Slate to keep it light, so it wasn't visible on the outside of the box.

 The Stampin’ Trimmer was a handy tool in trimming the straight cuts on my box and then I used the scoring blade for the folds. I finished off the other cuts with my snips.

I also wanted some fun, custom embellishments for my treat boxes, so I used an e-cutter to cut a small “hello” from Silver Glimmer paper. The “hello” comes from Dropping You a Line download. I cut the vine using an e-cutter and Pear Pizzazz Cardstock. The leafy vine image is from the Summer Happiness download. The vine pieces were quite delicate, so I had to carefully remove them from the cutting mat and pieced them together onto my box. I tied the Baker’s Twine over the top to help keep them in place.

World Traveler Digital Photobook

Last weekend I flew to Copenhagen....for lunch! I have a friend at work who is a true 'foodie' and she managed to secure reservations at the number one restaurant in the world and invited me to go along. Of course I said yes!

We spent a fabulous three days in Copenhagen and I got some great photos to scrapbook. Here's a World Traveler Photobook page a created about the general experience:

Word Traveler Digital Scrapbook

The past two weeks have given me a whole new set of photos to scrapbook in my World Traveler Digital Scrapbook. I flew to Singapore for 10 days for my work and had a marvelous experience there. And of course I had to add a scrapbook page featuring some of my favorite Singapore moments:

The World Traveler Digital Scrapbook comes as a kit so all the pages are laid out as templates, complete with photo and journal boxes. You can either keep them as is and drag and drop your photos in or you can resize, add or delete photo boxes and embellishments as you wish. On this page I simply added the red stars at the bottom and the airplane on the left and then added my journaling to complete my page.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today I have such an easy project to share with you - a St. Patrick's Day sign I created using My Digital Studio!

Here's how I created my sign:

First, I chose a 8 1/2 x 11 scrapbook page and colored it Garden Green - or you could use Wild Wasabi  or Old Olive

Next I added a Whisper White box and resized it to be slightly smaller than the Garden Green background layer

Then I added words from the Lucky Frameable stamp set

Each word I arranged on the page as I desired

When done, I simply printed it out.

To complete your project find a frame that you love and pop your My Digital Studio sign inside!

World Traveler Digital Scrapbook

It is so much fun living in a different part of the world with so much to explore that it is easy to create another page in my World Traveler Digital Scrapbook each week!

Here's my latest page:

Spring has sprung in The Hague and the moment the weather gets a bit warmer and the sun comes out so do the umbrellas and tables in the squares (called 'pleins') in the city. As I turned the corner near the city center I saw this plein and its hub bug of activity on a lazy Sunday afternoon so I had a snap a few photos for this page. 

The World Traveler Digital Scrapbook comes as a kit so all the pages are laid out as templates, complete with photo and journal boxes. You can either keep them as is and drag and drop your photos in or you can resize, add or delete photo boxes and embellishments as you wish. On this page I simply added the vanilla stars at the bottom and the walking man on the left and then added my journaling to complete my page. Quick, easy and a fun memory to look back upon.

World Traveler Digital Scrapbook

A couple of weeks ago I had another amazing experience that I just had to preserve so I created another page in my World Traveler Digital Scrapbook. 

I was invited to a local place called Niven, a one star Michelin restaurant, for a 10 course meal. I have never had an experience like that so used my iPhone to capture each and every course. I love that with My Digital Studio I can create as many photo boxes on a page as I need and then resize and place them as I like. 

Ten courses = ten photos boxes and here's what I designed:

I still had room to have a title and two spots for journaling and then chose a star embellishment from the World Traveler kit to complete the page.
