Today I have a really fun card idea and video using the So Hoppy Together Sale-a-bration stamp set along with a really fun idea for using one of your embossing folders - sort of like a mini technique.
I love the So Hoppy Together stamp set - it has super cute images and encouraging phrases. And I think you can use bold and happy colors when crafting with this set too, as I did in the card below.
The So Happy Together stamp set is offered as a free choice for any order $50 or more at my online store:
The images are fun to color using your Watercolor pencils, ink pads and blender pens or you Stampin' Blends. Remember to use your Memento Jet Black ink or your StazOn ink when stamping the images to prevent smearing when coloring.
Under the card photo I have a complete list of supplies can cutting dimensions - feel free to copy my idea and make this card at home! (change the phrase to match your needs)

Recently a customer emailed me to ask where I find color inspiration for my cards. I am going to share one of my design tips today!
In today's video (see the bottom of this blog post), I want to show you how to make a lovely thank you card, but you can change the phrase to make it a birthday card, thinking of you card, friendship card or any other occasion that you need. My card features the Bloom by Bloom stamp set found on page 25 of the Occasions Catalog:
This paper has bold and bright florals and patterns, using the following Stampin' Up! colors: Call Me Clover, Calypso Coral, Lovely Lipstick, Night of Navy, and Pineapple Punch. So I chose two of these colors for my card.
During my video I mention a stamping term: fussy cutting. Basically this means stamping and cutting out images using your paper snips, which is how I created the flower images for my card. A pair of high-quality scissors is a crafters must-have so don't cut costs for this item!
For my card I chose Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch for my focus colors. Here's my card:
Bloom by Bloom greeting card
Supplies
Stamp sets: Bloom by Bloom #148820; Love What You Do #148042
Ink: Pineapple Punch, Lovely Lipstick
Paper and cutting dimensions: Whisper White: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"; 3 3/4" x 5"; three pieces 1 3/4" square (large flowers); three pieces 1 1/2" square (small flowers)
Accessories: SNAIL adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Paper Snips
And as promised, here's how I decorated the inside of my card - using one of the small stamps in the Bloom by Bloom set.
Would you like to see how I created my card? Here's a video to show you how:
In the video below, I am going to show you how to create a very beautiful but very simple Valentine card. You don't need a lot of Valentine stamp sets and other products to make this card - you can use the supplies you have on hand.
The card below also has a simple layout but the pattern in the All My Love paper makes the card really pop:
The paper was my starting point then it was time to think of the phrase - pretty easy for me to figure out because I wanted to use my Well Written framelits again:
I decided to combine the 'love' framelit with the 'you' framelit and this combo will be my card phrase. The rest was easy: I used Lovely Lipstick because it was the main color in the All My Love paper
Here's my card and underneath you will see a list of supplies and cutting dimensions and a video tutorial!

Here's a video showing you how to make this card, along with some bonus tips!
Today is my monthly Crafternoon class and I thought it would be fun to make a video showing you one of my class cards. In this video I am going to show you how to create a Itty Bitty Greetings birthday card with some lovely feminine details. You can take my idea and turn it into a Valentine card, a wedding card or a thank you card using a brand new product that arrived this week.
When I spotted the Well Writtenframelits in the Occasions catalog (page 27) I knew immediately that they would provide so many possibilities for card making and paper crafting. I put this product on my Occasions Wish List (yes I have one too!) and when the opportunity came up for me to order them last week I did - and am so happy to now own them!
You also get an exclamation point (!) and an ampersand (&), and some other framelits that can be used as embellishments. A great value: 24 dies in the pack
Did you also spot the coordinating stamp set called Well Said? I made a tough decision here. I decided not to purchase the bundle and save 10% because I needed some cardstock and other supplies and had to prioritize them over the bundle. (sigh) Fingers crossed I can add the set to my collection before the Occasions catalog retires.
Here's my Itty Bitty Greetings card and my video below:
Stamp set: Itty Bitty Greetings (146667)

Accessories: Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Well Written Framelits (148534), Layering Circles framelits (141705), Multipurpose Adhesive sheets, SNAIL adhesive, Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Take Your Pick tool (144107)
Here's my video - don't miss my additional crafting tips as I show you how to make this card!
Yesterday I created a Happiness Blooms memories page to capture some of my recent life adventures. There are so many terms and styles for preserving your memories: scrapbooking, Project Life®, or memory keeping pages, and Stampin' Up!s Memories & More® collections.
Regardless of how you call it, what I have learned over the years is that your photos are always there but the specific memories may fade away over time: where was this taken? why did I take it? who is this person in the photo? what year was this? (and so on)
In today's video below I am going to show you how to create a companion page for the Happiness Blooms page I created yesterday. The beauty of this page is that you don't need a lot of supplies - not even stamps or ink!
Here are some of the supplies I used to create my page - click on any of them to link over to my Online Store:
In the video below my page photo, I walk you through what I did to create each pocket card.
Here's my companion page:

So tell me, which memories page do you like best? The one I created yesterday, or the one today? Leave me a comment under this post to let me know your fave.
Have you ever had trouble getting a rubber stamp to stick to the clear block when stamping? Or has a stamp fallen off half-way through stamping a project and smudged your project and you got ink all over your hands when trying to mount that stamp back onto the block?
Well no more of that nonsense!
Stampin' Up! has introduced a new type of stamp sets (in the Occasions catalog) called: Cling Stamp Sets! This new type of stamp will definitely improve your stamping experience!
When I first heard about these new cling mount stamps I admit I was a bit skeptical. But I knew that I needed to give them a try to see for myself what all the hubbub was all about. I am so happy I did! I love how strong the cling is to the clear block = no more falling off stamps and creating a mess.
Inside the cover of the cling stamp sets, Stampin' Up! has provided a set of instructions for mounting the stickers onto the stamps. But I have another way that works perfectly for me!
In the video below I am going to show you this secondway to mount your labels onto your stamps - a no-fail way for perfect alignment!
Watch all the way through as I offer a few bonus tips along the way:
Have you tried Cling stamp sets yet? Leave me a comment to let me know!
On a recent Facebook Live video I introduced my favorite product suite on pages 24-26 in the new Occasions catalog. It's called Happiness Blooms.
I love the jewel tones in the designer paper and I especially love the Happiness Blooms Memories and More card pack. In the video below I am going to show you how to create a fun greeting card using the card pack so you see that memory keeping products can also be used for other paper crafting projects.
A second product in this suite is a super cute set of punches, called Bitty Blooms. I used two of these punches on my card as well - to create two coordinating flower embellishments:
Combine the card pack with the punches and you can make this colorful greeting card in just a new minutes:
Happiness Blooms Friendship card

Paper and cutting dimensions: Whisper White: 11" x 4 1/4"; scraps for punching Call Me Clover: scraps

I love the colors in this paper - perfect for spring!
In my video, I used very few products so you can give this a try at home - add a pack of Blender Pens and you can color up a storm!

And now for my video - in case you want to give this card idea a try at home - make a bunch in one setting using different papers and colors so you will be ready for 2019!
Today I want to show you how to take the Dashing Deer bundle, Merry Christmas to All bundle and Festive Farmhouse paper to make something other than Christmas cards. I will show you how to create stunning Christmas present tags using these same products.
These Detailed Deer Christmas tags are so easy to create - you can make a bunch in an afternoon. Are you having an office gift exchange this year? I know I would love to receive stunning Christmas present tags as a gift and I bet your office mates would too.

In today's video I am going to show you how to create a beautiful Merry Christmas to All layered effect for a Christmas card. You can then use this technique for other card ideas using any word thinlits you have at home. I was inspired for this card idea by a card on page 4 of the Holiday Catalog - my card below is my own twist on this technique.
This Christmas card layout is perfect for using large patterned holiday paper as a layer on top of that will soften and draw the eye forward.
Here are some of the products I used to make my card - click on any of these small photos to place an order at my online store:

First, here's the Dashing Deer bundle. I love the beautiful, stylized deer in this stamp set. Click on either of these two photos to link over to my online store to place your Christmas card product order.

Dashing Deer is the most popular bundle in the Holiday catalog and judging from the number of hits on my first video using this bundle I can see that you love it too. Today I am going to show you how to create a second Dashing Deer Christmas card, one that has several added elements to make it really eye-catching.
First, here's the bundle I am writing about, just in case you haven't seen it before. I combined this bundle with the Merry Christmas thinlits. If you don't have the Merry Christmas thinlits could you replace the 'merry' with a stamped phrase.
Let's have a look at the card first and then I will add the video below to you can hear the extra tips I added throughout. I love this card not only for the layout but for the paper I chose (baby themed!) and for how I created the elements to frame the circle.

Here's my video - listen carefully for my question at the end and add your choice to the comments below. I will then create a second photo with the most popular answer choice!
In a couple of weeks friends and family may be arriving at your house to celebrate Thanksgiving together and there is a lot to prepare for this big day. Why not let Stampin' Up! (and me!) help you with your table decorations?
I have the perfect way to make your Thanksgiving table look stunning this year with a table setting cutlery pouch project. And to make your life easy, I created a video tutorial and set of written instructions below for you to download.
My suggestion is that you create an assembly line of steps for making this pouch a breeze. You can easily create several in no time at all and your guests will be wow when seated at your table.
The first step to this project is to choose your designer series paper pattern and then coordinate the main pocket color with the colors in the designer paper. Your table will look stunning if use a variety of pocket colors all the way around.
I chose the Country Lane designer series paper - the coordinating colors in this pack are:
Blackberry Bliss
Cajun Craze
Crushed Curry
Whisper White
Mint Macaron
Early Espresso
Old Olive
And for my pocket phrase I decided to use my Labels to Love stamp set which I stamped and die-cut using my Layering Circles framelits.
Here's my pocket idea:
Thanksgiving Table Silverware Pocket
Stamp set: Labels to Love (144967)
Markers: Crushed Curry, Blackberry Bliss
Paper and cutting dimensions: Country Lane: 2 1/4" x 3" Whisper White: 2" square Crushed Curry: 2 1/2" x 1 1/5" Blackberry Bliss: 7 1/2" x 6"
Other: Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Layering Circles framelits (141705), Seasonal Layers thinlits (143751), Tear & Tape adhesive, SNAIL adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Simply Scored (122334), Paper Snips, Bone Folder, Coordinating napkins, flatware/plasticware/silverware
Here's my video tutorial - underneath you will find instructions to download! In my video I share lots of other design ideas so make sure you listen all the way through!
Here are step by step instructions for you to download:
Cut Blackberry Bliss cardstock - each piece is: 7.5" x 6"
Using your Simply Scored, lay cardstock 7.5" horizontal on the scoreboard and score at 0.5" and at 4"
Turn Blackberry Bliss cardstock 90 degrees clockwise and score at 1".
Cut along the score line at 1" from both edges until you meet a score line.
Trim back the edges of the fold back flaps (diagonally) to reduce some bulk.
Use a Layering Circle framelit to cut a semi circle from the side of the pocket that has no flaps. Hint: Place the framelit half on and half off the cardstock to cut the semi-circle. In order to fit it through the Big Shot, you may have to fold up the flaps on the other side.
Fold in the flap, burnish with your Bone Folder and add Tear & Tape adhesive on flaps.
Fold over the section with the semi circle to complete the pocket.
