Hi fellow crafters. Today I want to show you another way to use up your Christmas paper scraps to create a super easy holiday card. Once you learn this layout technique you can apply my idea for any occasion you need. This idea is also perfect for those last minute holiday cards you realize you need, just when you are ready to dash out the door.
First you want to select your paper designs. I would recommend two different but complementary designs. You will see why when you see my card below.
I chose a design in the A Walk in the Forest paper pack.
I love love love this paper as it was created for a good cause. If you follow me on Facebook you will have my Facebook live where I talk about what makes this paper so special.
These are the two designs I will be using. You are going to make 2 different cuts and that's all there is to this layout.
The phrase on my card comes from the Brightest Glow stamp set:

Hi fellow crafters. I am back with another easy Christmas card idea. This week we are going to feature your leftover scraps of designer series paper, designs that will make your card a real standout.
If you are making a lot of cards this year then this simple layout will help you do that in a short amount of time. For my card, I chose the A Walk in the Forest designer series paper.
I am quite surprised to see who much of this paper I have on hand considering how many cards I have made using it this year. In my video below, I tell you why I chose this pack and why you might want to consider it too.
When choosing your strips, consider both sides for colors and coordination. You may be able to use both sides of one sheet like I did or you may need to coordinate colors and designs from different sheets in the pack.
I chose leftover strips of this paper and cut them down to be the main focal point on my card.
For the phrase, I chose to use the Brightest Glow stamp set. This is the perfect stamp set for Christmas, offering you a variety of fonts, sayings (inside and out) and sizes for all your holiday projects.
Here's my card!
Here's how I designed the inside:
Here's what you need to make this card at home.

Hi fellow crafters. you asked for more easy Christmas card ideas and I am here to deliver. Today I have a easy but pretty Christmas card idea that is also an easy fun fold. I can't wait to show you how to make it.
I chose to create a wreath from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set - this will be the main element on my card.
For the other decorative touch I used a pattern paper in the A Walk in the Forest designer series paper pack.
I love that this pack has a variety of patterns, some cute and playful, and some more traditional. I tend to let my mood of the day determine which pattern I am going to use. How about you?
Here's my card:

Hi fellow crafters. Today I have a fun ink technique that you can use with your embossing folders. It is easy and creates a real eye-catching look on your cards and you can adapt this technique for a variety of occasions.
For my card I will be using the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder.
Cane weave is a classic pattern that goes with pretty much everything! You can use this versatile pattern in so many ways. Create a full, textured background for your handmade cards, die cut or fussy cut your embossed paper for unexpected elements, or add dimension to specific areas on the embossed surface using Stampin' Up! ink and a sponge.
I chose the Cane Weave embossing folder because of its intricate design which is perfect for this ink technique.
My card phrase comes from the Dainty Delight stamp set - these phrases are so useful for a variety of occasions which makes this set a great value!
The main focal element on the card front comes from the Meadow Dies. I love using these meadow flowers as single accents on my cards - you can also bundle them together to make a cute bouquet.
Here's my card. If you want to learn how I made it, watch my video tutorial below. And if you want to order any of these products click on one of the photos above to link over to my online store.
Supplies
Stamp set: Dainty Delight (161078)

Paper and cutting dimensions: Basic White: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"; 4" x 5 1/4"; 4 3/4" x 2" Night of Navy: 1 6/8" x 5 1/4"
A couple of weeks ago I showed how to create an impressive Christmas card that you can easily make multiples of. I got a great response from that video and many of you requested that I share another easy idea. So this video is for you - it's a simple fun fold idea that I learned myself this week!
The main feature on my card is the A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper.
When choosing a designer series paper pattern for this card watch for directionality and be sure that both sides of the design will coordinate well. The color scheme and tree images in the A Walk in the Forest pack make this paper a natural fit for winter crafting—use it to accent your holiday cards which we will be doing today and you can also use it for gift tags.
My phrase comes from the Brightest Glow stamp set:
I particularly love this stamp set because it offers phrases for the outside as well as the inside of our Christmas cards, making it a great value!
To add a bit of visual interest, I also used the Basics 3D Embossing Folders pack. I chose the folder that looks like it has snowflakes on it:
Did you know that these embossing folders are only seen in the Online Exclusive section in my online store? Click the image above to see ordering details.
Here's my easy fun fold card:
And here's what you need to make it at home, along with a video tutorial showing you how.
Supplies
Stamp set: Brightest Glow (159542)
Paper and cutting dimensions:
Balmy Blue: 5 1/2" x 6"; 1" x 5 1/4" A Walk in the Forest DSP: 3" x 5 1/2" Basic White: 3" x 2" Pretty Peacock: 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Misc: Something Fancy Dies (160424); Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins (162029); Basics 3D Embossing Folders (161598); A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper ( 162377); Bone Folder; Paper Trimmer
How many Christmas cards do you send each year: 10, 20, more than 50? If you send a lot of cards each year I am sure that you are looking for a design that is easy to make but creates card that will still impress. I have the perfect suggestion in today's post.
One of my hot tips for this card idea is to choose a designer series paper pattern that tells a little story or that creates a lot of visual interest.
The color scheme and tree images in the A Walk in the Forest pack make this paper a natural fit for winter crafting—use it to accent your holiday cards which we will be doing today and you can also use it for gift tags.
The key to impress on your holiday cards is use to a few layers and levels. When I create my Christmas cards each year I always use a Basic White card base for those cards that I will be mailing overseas. I try to avoid colored card bases because I would then have to add a Basic White layer inside to write on - which adds extra weight and cost to each card.
So today I stuck to my plan: a Basic White card base but 2 A Walk in the Forest layers to add visual interest.
For my phase I also kept that simple - using the Brightest Glow stamp set:
This set is perfect for the busy stamper and helps with your crafting costs too. I love that the set offers phrases out of the outside of the card AND the inside as well. This is my go-to set for this holiday season.
To add a bit more visual interest, I used my Basics 3D embossing folders - I chose a subtle folder for a bit of texture and to add a bit more sophistication to my card front.
My final tip is to add a bit of bling on your Christmas cards - this adds that final professional-looking detail and polish.
Here's my card:
Here's how to make my card at home:
SUPPLIES
Stamp set: Brightest Glow (159542)
Ink: Pretty Peacock
Paper and cutting dimensions: Basic White: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"; 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" A Walk in the Forest: 2 3/4" x 5 1/2"; 1/2" x 5 1/2" Balmy Blue: 2 1/4" x 1 3/4"
Misc: Basics 3D Embossing Folders (161598); Stampin' Dimensionals; A Walk in the Forest designer series paper (162377); Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels (158987); Something Fancy Dies (160424)
Here's my video - be sure to watch all the way through for my bonus tips and design ideas.
As promised, here's my tip for creating many of these cards in a week!
The key to making 50 or more cards is to set up an assembly line system and work on each step over several days. For example, Day 1 is to cut all card bases. Day 2 is to emboss all card bases. Day 3 is to cut all DSP and adhere them to the card base. Day 4 is to stamp and die-cut the phrase and layers. And so on. If you set up this kind of an assembly line you can easily have 50+ cards made in a single week!
Two weeks ago I showed you a fun and easy technique using the new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks. Today I want to show you how a fun combination of these masks to create a stunning card idea. Shall we get started?
You can certainly Jazz up your paper crafts with the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks! Each of the masks has fun and detailed all-occasion designs that will add depth and color to your paper crafting projects, whether it’s cards, gift tags, or gift packaging. The flower and petal masks can help you wish a sunny salutation. Use the argyle patterned mask to create a card that’s cozy and cute for fall. You could also use the masking technique to combine a couple of the masks to create your own unique designs which is what we are going to do today.
For today's card I am going to use the Argyle mask and the Sunflowers mask to create an eye-catching card idea - one that uses unusual colors as well.
For my phrase I chose a birthday stamp from the Cheerful Daisies bundle:
Here's what you need to gather together and then be sure to watch my video tutorial below:

Hi fellow crafters. I learned a new fun fold this week and can't wait to share it with you! It looks complicated but is super easy, I promise! Would you like to learn it too?
This fun fold idea is perfect for using up leftover bits of your designer series paper. For my fun fold card I will be using the A Walk in the Forest pack. The color scheme and tree images make this paper a natural fit for winter crafting and Christmas cards. Here's a fun fact: with every purchase of this paper pack Stampin' Up! will donate $2 to support organisations dedicated to spreading cheer and providing support to those in need. So you too, in a roundabout away, will be supporting great causes when you purchase this paper.
If you love nature then you need to check out the A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper. The color scheme and tree images make this paper a natural fit for winter crafting—use it to accent your holiday cards and gift tags. When the weather warms, you won’t want to stash this paper away! Combine it with complementary colors and use it to make cards for all the outdoorsy people in your life. If they’re into camping, hiking, mountain climbing, or other outdoor adventures, they’ll appreciate the lovely nature-inspired images—and you, for thinking of them!
I will also be using my Shop the Town stamp set:
Evoke the magic of the holiday season on your handmade cards and gift tags with the Shop the Town set. Build a Christmas village, then deck it out for the season. Stamp the Christmas tree, then color it in entirely or leave some parts white for a snow-kissed look. String festive lights between buildings, then add some falling snow and carolers—there are so many possibilities! When the holiday season ends and a new year begins, you can use these stamps to set a quaint village scene without the festive decor. (Also available in French)
Here's my Double Bridge Fun Fold idea - looks complicated, right? (it's not!) Watch my video below for a step by step tutorial.

The new Mini Catalog is now live and there is a product in there that you just have to see. I will use this product to create a colorful technique that is easy and fun to make.
The Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks are a new product in the Sept-Dec Mini. The set has 7 masks and here's a unique feature: 4 of the masks layer to create lovely sunflowers. I am going to use one of the single masks for today's technique.
For my phrase I chose one that I have not used yet, from the Something Fancy stamp set:
This stamp set has all the sentiments you never knew you needed! From classic well wishes to snarky (hehe) celebratory statements, the Something Fancy stamp set says it all in a beautiful modern font combo.
I think the phrase matches the card technique perfectly, don't you?
You are also going to need your Blending Brushes (either size) and 5 colors of ink! Here are some more products to gather together:

If you are thinking about Christmas card ideas then you will definitely want to watch today's video tutorial. I am going to show you how to create a Bay Window fun fold card that will wow all your friends and family, using some new Mini Catalog products.
The main feature on today's card come from the A Walk in the Forest designer series paper.
What makes this paper pack really special is that it is part of Stampin' Up!s making a difference program. For every purchase, Stampin' Up! will make a donation to support organizations dedicated to spreading cheer and providing support to those in need.
When choosing designer series paper for this fun fold, I would recommend that you choose patterns that have a bit of a story attached. I will explain more about this tip in my video below.
With the Trucking Along stamp set, your creative process always runs smoothly, especially as a layer on today's card.
In no time you will have a whole (loading) bin full of handmade cards and gift tags! Make a paper pickup truck and load it with flowers, trees or gifts, for example. There is something for every season! The lyrics are suitable for Christmas and other occasions. This set is therefore useful all year round.
At the time I ordered the stamp set, the punch was not yet available. Tip: not sure you need the punch!

Hi, fellow crafters! Are you always on the lookout for masculine card ideas? Today I am going to show you how to create an easy Earthen Elegance masculine card along with a cool technique to use with this paper.
To create my designer paper technique I am going to use a pattern in the Earthen Elegance paper pack. The colors and designs in the pack are perfect for fall cards and masculine cards as well.
I am also using the He's All That stamp set and All That Dies (sold separately but the perfect match).
The He’s All That set provides a few line art images perfect for your favorite coloring technique. Combine these vintage images and versatile greetings to make creations for Father's Day, birthdays, and just because. I feel this set is a must-have for all cards masculine!
I used the All That Dies to create 2 fun elements on the card,
and the Something Fancy dies for the phrase and additional visual element.
To create the Earthen Elegance technique I used my Cane Weave embossing folder.
The folder has a classic pattern to it which I feel works well for masculine cards.
Here's my masculine card idea, can you see the visual impact that the Cane Weave embossing folder had on the Earthen Elegance paper layer?

If you love fun folds, then you are going to want to give this one a try. This fun fold has a unique layout, one that is a top fold window card.
I will be using my Hello Irresistible paper for today's fun fold. It is still available in my online store but you should know that when I checked the day I taped the video below, it was showing as 'low inventory'. So don't wait to order a pack if you want to use it for this fun fold too.
I love these elegant botanical and floral designs and beautiful color washes. Here's some trivia about this paper: it was hand drawn digitally to give it a natural, artistic flair. You can cut out some of the designs and use them on card fronts or use the paper as background like will will be doing today.
I am also using the corresponding Irresistible Blooms bundle. Combine the flower and leaf images from the die and stamp set to create beautiful floral pieces. Add multiple layers to your projects using swirly cutout shapes for projects that pop, or create your own peek-through cards!
I especially love that some of the dies are a perfect match for the matching paper - my video below will explain more.
Here's my fun fold card - watch the video below to see how to make it, and to see what it looks like when opened.
Thanks to all your requests, I am back with another vellum card idea, this one is a special technique that you will definitely want to try.
To create the stamped images for this technique, I will be using the Irresistible Blooms stamp set, which features gorgeous floral designs and sentiments in an elegant font.
The set is also great for coloring opportunities like you will see with today's technique.
The Scalloped Contours Dies include dies to cut out your floral shapes and gorgeous scalloped border dies for your cards.
The scalloped edge borders in this set range in size, allowing you to decorate a card front or create scalloped labels for your sentiments. I chose one of these dies to add an elegant feel to my card.
To see how to create the vellum technique, watch the video below. Here's my card:
If you have lots of embossing folders then this is the video for you. I am going to show you how to use 3 of them to create a super easy and beautiful eye-catching card.
I will be using the Basics 3D embossing folders.
I love that these folders have basic designs that complement any project. Choose from flowers, hobnail-glass dots, and crosshatch designs and add amazing texture to your cards.
You might be thinking: wait a minute here - these are not in the Annual Catalog. And you are right. They are available only as an online exclusive which means they are not in our catalogs but only seen in my online store. Click here (and then on 'New Arrivals') so you can have a look at all of the exclusive products that are offered there.
For the elements on my card I used the Cheerful Daisies bundle (such a great investment!):
You'll love everything you can do with this bundle. Do you like bold and simple stamping? Use the solid images, perfect for quick stamping in one color. Do you want to add detailed color? Use the open line-art images, perfect for watercoloring. The flowers, flower centers, leaves, and stems are on separate stamps so you can create customized flowers. Finish with a sentiment—birthday, thanks, thinking of you, sorry—for unique cards for many occasions.
Here's my card:
