I was cleaning up my craft cupboard the other day and spotted my Gift Bag Punch Board. I realized I haven't created a gift bag for ages so thought it was about time I did so!
I used to make gift bags all the time and have no idea why I haven't done so recently. They are so easy to make and Stampin' Up! has even come out with a video using the Gift Bag Punch Board. Have a look to see how easy they are to create!
I decided to make a small gift bag to share with you using Blueberry Bushel card stock as my card base. Then I chose a corresponding pattern and color from the 2018-2020 In Color Designer Paper pack:
As you know I make a New Year's resolution to use up my accessories before they retire in May so that I have a clear conscience to buy more when the next Annual Catalog comes out in June! The Best Route washi tape uses Blueberry Bushel as one of its colors so I used some strips of it on my gift bag:
My last design choice was to create a Mango Melody butterfly to add a fun little touch on my bag.
The dot on the 'i' is one of the Best Route Enamel Shapes and the bag is held closed using a trip of Blueberry Bushel ribbon. What do you think? Cute, right?
Why not add the Gift Bag Punch Board to your next product order and begin to make your own gift bags! You can create matching gift card and envelopes for a complete set of gorgeousness!
The Signs of Santa bundle is such a happy set - with those quirky images that are fun to color. And the set even has an official North Pole seal!
You know you have seen signs of Santa's amazing helpers with today's project - one of the elf images is featured on a super cute, and very easy to make, gift bag and tag.
What would you pop inside this bag and give to someone special? I love the size of these Santa's Gift bags - they fit nicely onto a Christmas tree branch, inside a stocking hung by the fireplace or sitting on a place setting at the dinner table. There are so many ideas for these fun bags - why not start with this one below?

Punch one end of the 2” x 4 3/4 piece of Garden Green cardstock with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.

Die cut the elf and pole from the Santa Workshop DSP and then stamp the North Pole onto the pole with the Memento Black Ink.
Attach the Whisper White stitched circle to the Garden Green Scalloped Circle and then add the elf and pole.
Use Dimensionals to attach the completed circle to the tag.
Tie a bow with the Poppy Parade Ribbon and add to the top of the tag with 2 Glue Dots
Attach the Whisper White Bakers Twine to the top of the tag.
Here I have used the tag on the Santa Bags (147812) but this tag can also be used on any other bag or wrapped gift or even as the focal point of a card.
I love this time of year. Time to shop for presents for those special people in my life. Time for holiday gatherings and parties. And then the time when I wish I had beautiful packaging for those fun presents.
This time of year is also very busy in my daily job. I am away at a week long conference - one where educators from Africa, Europe and the Middle East come together to share what's happening in their amazing schools. I am sad that I can't be here to make you a personal video tutorial, but as always, I won't let you down!
I chose a special video tutorial from Stampin' Up! to share with you. It shows you how to create an unusual gift bag using our Gift Bag Punch Board - a bag with a flap!
As you watch, think about ideas for Christmas bags using the supplies you have at home. Or click here for the direct link to YouTube: https://youtu.be/OyZBdswNXrk
Beautiful idea, right? I love using my Gift Bag Punch Board and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make matching cards and packages. Click on the image below to add this fun tool to your crafting room.
I love being able to pre-order from the upcoming Annual Catalog so I can make a bunch of project ideas to share with you as little teasers. Today is no exception - there is a new tool in the catalog you will just have to have. Introducing the Gift Bag Punch Board!
This new tool can be used to make three different sized gift bags: small, medium and large. And it takes just minutes too.
Here's my first gift bag using the board - I chose the colors to match the perfect gift from Tiffany's!
The images on the Coastal Cabana background, along with the "HI!" comes from a new stamp set: Layered Letters. I have so many more project ideas to share using the Gift Bag Punch Boardand the Layered Letters stamp set so come back soon and check out my Facebook Business page daily too.
And on June 2, when the new Annual Catalog goes live, you can order these new products for tons of crafting fun!
This has certainly not been my month. I came home from a business trip last week and discovered my apartment had been burglarized, all my belongings strewn everywhere, and my computer and jewelry stolen.
So, sad to say, I don't have a video tutorial for my Sundays with Sizzix blog post today but Stampin' Up! has created one that is perfect to share until I get a new computer up and running.
Introducing the Mini Treat Bag thinlits!
This set of thinlits is so much fun to create with - so fun in fact that I hope these thinlits stay around forever!

Here's a quick and easy chocolate treat box from someone "sweet" in your life. I used the Big Shot Bag with Scallops BIGZ die and Cameo Coral card stock.
The star background, from the Hello Again stamp set, was stamped using Versamark on the front and back pieces. The Things I Love "chocolate" image was stamped using Soft Suede classic ink, punched out using the 1 1/4" circle punch, layered onto a Cameo Coral 1 3/8" circle, then onto a Bermuda Bay Scallop circle. The box is held shut by a piece of Bermuda Bay polka-dot ribbon.
If you want to be able to make simple but cute bags, consider the Bag with Scallops die on your next order. If you want to see my video tutorial on how to make a project using this BIGZ die, click here.
