Measurements: 

• Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” and 3” x 4”

Instructions:

1. Fold the 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” Basic White Cardstock in half to create card base.
2. Adhere the Full of Life Paper to the Petunia Pop Cardstock and adhere to front of card.
3. Stamp the sentiment just below the Petunia Pop cardstock, on the right side, using Petunia Pop ink.
4. Run the Basic White cardstock through the Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the large tree from the Decorative Trees Bundle dies. Adhere to the card, just to the left of the stamped sentiment.
5. Run the Petunia Pop Glimmer Paper through the Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the “skinny trunk” and the 3 Christmas Ornaments.
6. Place these 4 die-cuts upside down on the Silicone Mat. Add a small amount of glue to the mat, pick up using a sponge dauber and pounce on the mat to remove most of the adhesive.  Pounce the dauber with glue onto the backside of the dies and adhere to the white tree to finish.

Instructions:

1. Stamp the bear and bunny with Memento ink and color with blends. The blanket checks are in light and dark Balmy Blue.  The bear is light and dark Pecan Pie with the light shade of Crumb Cake around his eyes and on his tummy.  The book is Night of Navy.
2. Die cut the circle using the sixth circle from the center of the rings.
3. Stamp ‘Wishing you Comfort’ in Pretty in Pink ink on the circle
4. Add four Dimensionals on the back of the circle.
5. Adhere the Pecan Pie cardstock to the Basic White base card.
6. Add the DSP to the base card.
7. Add the bear and bunny circle to the card.

Instructions:

1. Using Pool Party ink, stamp snowflakes around outer edges of Pool Party card base.
2. Start towards the center of the 5” x 7” Basic White panel and stamp penguins diagonally to cover the cardstock. Color in beak and feet with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Marker then trim piece to be 3-1/4” x 4-1/2”. Use glue to adhere to Poppy Parade layer.
3. Using Mini Glue Dots, add ribbon strip to front and wrap excess evenly around back of card.
4. Stamp sentiment in Poppy Parade on Basic White and die cut. With Stampin’ Dimensionals, add to front of card over ribbon.
5. With Stampin’ Dimensionals, add penguin panel to card front.
6. With dots of glue and by lifting each with the Take Your Pick Tool, add three snowflakes to front. Let dry.

Instructions:

1. Adhere the background Designer Paper to the card.
2. Cut out the greetings with the coordinating dies using Pumpkin Pie cardstock. Use the Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend to colour the bottom part of each cut out greeting.
3. Add a little glue to the back of the greetings and add them to the card.
4. Add Wink of Stella on each greeting.
5. Adhere the Pumpkin Pie cardstock centered on the card.
6. Cut out the Basic White rectangle using the die from Everyday Details. Add it to the card using Dimensionals.
7. Adhere the ribbon on top.
8. Stamp the cup, whipped cream, straw and pumpkin on Basic White cardstock using Memento Black ink. Colour the cups using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Colour the pumpkins using Pumpkin Pie Blends. Cut out each using the coordinating die.
9. Stamp a piece of Pecan Pie Cardstock using Mememto Black ink. Use Paper Snip Scissors to cut out the center part of the cup. Use the Scoring Blade on the Paper Trimmer to add score marks to the Pecan Pie “coffee sleeve”. Adhere it to the cut out cup.
10. Add Wink of Stella to the Whipped Cream and the Pumpkin.
11. Adhere the cup, cream and straw together and add them to the card using Dimensionals. Add the pumpkins on top using a Dimensional.

This challenge looks easy, but is it really? 🤔

This week's Paper Craft Crew card sketch challenge looks super easy, so why did I have so many problems figuring it out? 

I think I was overthinking the background. It took me a while to decide to use a Blending Brush to create a circular layer and I am happy with how it turned out. 

The layers were not difficult either. The tag element comes from the Take to the Sky designer series paper - there is one pattern with many printed tags on it. 

The circle element comes from the Spotlight on Nature dies:

The other paper elements are from the new Autumn to Remember Scrapbooking Workshop Kit: 

And the Simply Said phrase was die-cut using one of the dies in the new Peaceful Season bundle. 

So.....this is not rocket science, right?

Why do I not like my card (a lot!)?

6. Ink phrase with Early Espresso ink and stamp onto Basic White. Using paper snips scissors, cut around phrase.
7. Adhere phrase to card front to complete card.

Hello crafty friends! I just got back from a wonderful vacation visiting friends and family in Canada. The weather was amazing for that time of year, with cool mornings and evenings, and warm afternoons. The trees were turning all shades of yellow and red, and now that I am back home I am inspired to create all sorts of fall projects. 

Which made me immediately think of the More than Autumn bundle and the card that I want to share with you today.

        Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper: 4 x 5 ¼, 3 ½ x 5 ¼; ⅝ x 5 ⅛; 1 x 5 ½ inside.

        Basic Beige: 3 ¾ x 5 inside            

           

Instructions:

1.    Out of the 3 ½ x 5 ¼ Early Espresso and Thoughtful Journey paper die cut the strip of the 3 threes.

2.    Adhere the designer paper trees over the Early Espresso offset a little to give the shadow look.

3.    Stamp the greeting using Early Expresso ink onto the ⅝ x 5 ⅛ designer paper strip to the right-hand side and adhere to the ¾ x 5 ¼ Early Expresso strip.

4.     Adhere the following layers to the card front: 4 x 5 ¼ designer paper layer, the tree strips, greeting strip.

5.     Stamp the birds onto the card front using Early Espresso ink.

6.     Add the Pecan Pie embellishment onto the left side of the greeting.

7.     Inside adhere the Basic Beige layer and top with the 1 x 5 ½ designer paper.
