Yes, I am back with yet another card idea using the fabulous Changing Leaves bundle!
I 'challenge' you to look back through my blog posts and check out all the unique ideas you can create using this bundle. It's one of the best bundles Stampin' Up! has ever created, in my humble (or not!) opinion!
Tip: click on the photo above to order the bundle at my online store.
Today's card idea uses 2 elements I haven't used before.
Do you know what a Drusy element is?

And can you spot the Woven Golden Leaves on the card below?
These 2 embellishments will add visual interest to any cards or scrapbook pages that you will create.

Hi fellow crafters! Today I want to feature the Frosted Forest online exclusive bundle - a stamp set, dies and a set of masks! I am going to use parts of this bundle to create a super easy card idea - one that you will LOVE!
This bundle has the tools you need to create elegant wintery cards with a forest feel. Stamp a tree, add a die-cut tree trunk, and finish off with embossed snow on the branches. Use the stamps, dies, and decorative masks together or in any combination to create exactly what you want.
For today's card I won't be using the masks but stay tuned because I also want to show you how amazing they are too!
What makes my card super interesting to look at is the Full of Life paper:
Most of the colors and designs in this pack are bright and colorful but if you dig through the pack a bit you will find the design I used - which is perfect for the card mood I wanted to create.
Here's my card! Watch my video below for all the fun details AND bonus design ideas!
Tip: change the phrase and make this a Halloween card!

The Artful Amaryllis Bundle features the beautiful amaryllis flower.
The Amaryllis is a stunning flower that grows from a bulb and is easily grown inside. We usually see it around Christmas, but the flower symbolizes love. Therefore, this set can be used to make Christmas, Valentine's, Anniversary, or Birthday cards.
Stamp the open line-art flower and color it with your favorite hues and coloring tools. Or stamp the line-art flower, then stamp it with the filler images for a solid and dimensional look. Even though amaryllis is traditionally seen as a Christmas flower, you can use this one all year long. Just use different colors for the flower for different times of year.
You can find some beautiful examples on page 48 of the September – December Mini Catalog. The example below uses Artful Amaryllis to make a birthday card using many items from the mini catalog.
The card base is Real Red cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”. Next layer is Old Olive cut to 5” x 3 ¾”. Next comes a Basic White layer, 3 ½” x 4 ¾”, that is die cut with the Deckled Circle Dies. After die cutting the circle, emboss with the Forever Plaid embossing folder.
Before attaching this piece put a 3 ¼” square behind the circle. This card uses a piece of DSP from the Season of Green & Gold DSP. Next stamp the amaryllis flower on Basic White using Tuxedo Memento Black ink. Use Real Red and Old Olive to stamp the flowers and leaves. Die cut using the matching die from Artful Amaryllis. Attach with dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment on Basic White using Real Red, die cut with the Deckled Rectangles. Cut a rectangle out of Old Olive to fit behind the sentiment and attach with dimensionals.
Make sure to add this beautiful bundle to your next order and start creating.
Crafting on a budget? Check out these affordable products that don’t compromise on quality and are perfect if you are short on time.
Introducing the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack! These laser-cut floral elements give you the look of hand-colored, detailed, die-cut pieces in a jiff—just remove them from the sheet and adhere to a card base using your favorite adhesive. There are 8 sheets in one pack giving you SO MANY card possibilities.
And to add a further coordinated touch, pair these pack elements with our blank cards and envelopes and Labels & Layers Ephemera Pack to make quick and easy cards with a personal touch!
I love that you can also purchase the matching Calming Creek cards and envelopes for a more professional look - yet still on that budget.
Here are 2 card ideas to help get you started! Simply have a look at the photos to see how to construct each card – no complicated instructions needed!

Note: pair up the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack with the Simply Said stamp set.
This sentiment-only stamp set is a paper crafting staple you can use all year long, year after year. The set sentiments include birthday, thanks, thinking of you, missing you, celebration, and more!
Here's a fun card sketch challenge for those of you who are excited for October to arrive.
There are so many possibilities for this challenge but I was completely stuck. So I dug into my 'retired' stash and spotted the Cottage Wreaths bundle:
I have used this bundle so much and was so sad when Stampin' Up! retired this bundle. It's always fun to dust off some of our faves and to create a new and different card, isn't it?
Here's what I created:
This idea was so fun to create - and easy too - and a great way to use up left-over paper strips. If you still have Cottage Wreaths laying around, why not try this idea too?
Tip: I created an Instagram Reel showing you how I created this card - watch for my reel to be posted later today.
If you want to see what the other Paper Craft Crew design crew members created this week, click here.
It’s fun to give small treats in little bags you have made. These self-closing gift bags open by squeezing the sides together. When you let go of the sides, the box automatically closes. This blog post gives you two sizes of gift bags. You can adjust the height and width of the bag as desired.

INSTRUCTIONS
For Narrow Box
Place the 6” side of the 6” x 5 ½” dsp along the top of the paper trimmer and score at 1 ¼”.
Turn the dsp 90 degrees so the score line is against the top of the trimmer and score from the right-hand side at 2½” and 5” from top to bottom.
Along bottom, again from the right-hand side, score from horizontal score line to edge at 1 ¼” and 3 ¾”.
Cut from bottom edge to score line along the vertical score lines. Remove the bottom of the ½” flap as shown. See diagram below.
Fold and burnish on the score lines.
Apply adhesive to the ½” flap and adhere to other edge.
Fold the bottom flaps in and adhere to make a box.
Stamp Thanks on scrap of Basic White and cut out with Spotlight on Nature Die.
Thread the linen thread through a hole in the tag and tie a bow. Adhere to the box.
Larger Box
Place the 6” side of Nests of Winter DSP along the top of the paper trimmer and score at 1” and 5 ¼”.
Turn it 90 degrees so the 1” score line is running at the top and score at 4” and 8” from top edge to bottom edge.
Then score from the horizontal score line to edge at 2” and 6”. See diagram 2.
Continue with steps 4 – 7.
Line up the ‘just for’ and ‘YOU’ stamps on an acrylic block and then stamp on scrap Basic White CS with Real Red ink. Cut out with Spotlight on Nature die.
Use the next larger size of die to cut a circle from the green striped pattern of the Nests of Winter DSP. Layer the two circles together, punch a hole and string a length of linen thread through it.
Adhere a length of red ribbon to the top of the box and tie it in a bow. Add the tag.
The new Mini Catalog is now live and I can’t wait to introduce a brand new bundle, called Winterly Treetops, and show you a beautiful card idea using it. I also can’t wait to show you the new embossing folder that I am also going to use!
The Nests of Winter Suite Collection is a perfectly peaceful collection of card making and paper crafting goods for winter or year-round use!
With adorable birds and organic textures and tones, you’ll love creating Christmas and holiday cards for your favorite people with this collection. Each item specially coordinates with one another. Some of the dies also directly coordinate with one of the bird paper designs!
Today I have a lovely card idea that uses the Winterly Treetops bundle - which is included in the above collection or you can purchase it separately.
The stamp set features gorgeous hand-sketched birds perched on branches and friendly sentiments great for winter or all year long.
Instead of using the Nests of Winter paper (part of the collection), however, I am going to pair the bundle with the Season of Green & Gold paper:
I love all the greens in this paper and that I can use Very Vanilla instead of Basic White. Sometimes a little change can be a good thing, right?
To match the plaid in the paper, I thought it would be fun to use my new Forever Plaid embossing folder:
The 3D texture ensures a deep impression of the classic plaid design, great for background and accent pieces on holiday, winter, and Christmas designs.
Here's my card - watch my video below for step by step instructions and for my bonus tips.
Here's what you need to make this card:
Supplies
Stamp set: Winterly Treetops (bundle: 164066)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper and cutting dimensions: Very Vanilla: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"; 3 3/4" x 3"; 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" Old Olive: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"; 3 1/4" x 3 6/8" Season of Green & Gold: (3) 1/2" x 4 1/8"
When I used teach in a school, there were many times that I would want to craft some gifts for my colleagues, either for Christmas, birthdays or for the start of the year.
Teachers love notepads and we use them all the time - but often they are just boring notepads with lines on them.
Here's a beautiful gift idea for creating a notepad cover using your favorite designer series paper designs. The idea below uses the gorgeous Perennial Lavender paper:
The hand-painted designs in this paper pack were inspired by fields of wild lavender and the wildflowers that grow right alongside it. You can use these lovely sheets as a background image or die-cut pieces to use as an accent for your card making projects. (tip: click on the paper photo to order it at my online store)
Below is a generic set of instructions for this project:
Cardstock: (CS) 3 Sheets same color
8 ½ X 11 Long side score 3, 9, 9 ¼
8 ½ X 8 score on 8 ½ side 5 7/8 and 6 1/8
8 3/8 X 6 7/8 score ½” on both long sides and bottom.
Designer Series Paper: (DSP) 3-4 coordinating colors/patterns
2 @ 8 ¼ X 5 ¾ Front cover and inside back of front cover
7 7/8 X 5 7/8 Inside middle
2 ¾ X 8 ¼ Front Flap
2 @ 1½ x 8 ¼ different designs or 1 @ 3 X 8 ¼ for inside right flap.
Directions:
Join the full size of piece of CS with the 8 X 8 1/2. Lay the smaller flap on the larger one so it lines up just to the right of the score lines on the larger piece. Use Tear & Tape to adhere.
Use a corner rounder to round all four corners.
Fold on score line.
Take the 8 ¼ X 5 ¾ DSP and round the two right side corners. Adhere DSP to the outside front.
Round the left side corners of the 2 ¾ X 8 ¼ DSP and adhere to the front flap.
On the 8 3/8 X 6 7/8 cardstock, fold on score lines, miter the corners. Adhere tear & tape along the edge on the inside of both sides and bottom. Secure to the middle inside panel. Add the 7 7/8 X 5 7/8 piece of DSP to the front of the panel using your adhesive. This creates the pocket where the back of your notepad will slide in.
Use the corner rounder on the two right sides of the 1 ½ X 8 ¼ or 3 X 8 ¼ DSP top and bottom corners.
Adhere the above strips to the inside right flap.
Add Ribbon to inside right flap-adhering with tear and tape and carryover to front and tie a bow.
Stamp a sentiment and adhere to the front flap using Dimensionals.
Place the 5 X 7 notepad inside the holder and close the left side of cover. Use a 3/8” of ½” Velcro circle for your closure. Place the two pieces together and adhere to the center of the front under flap. Fold flap over and give a good rub to adhere it.
Why not try this fun idea and surprise your child's teacher? What a great way to kick off the school year!
The Stampin’ Glass Mat is now available for purchase!
This is a paper crafter’s dream! The heavy-duty glass mat comes printed with a ruler and grid lines for easy measuring, while the large surface space gives ample room for spreading out while paper crafting. The safety-tempered glass has a heat and scratch resistant surface that wipes clean with the included cloth and water—no chemicals needed. The reusable cloth also cleans ink off your stamps!
Here are my top 7 reasons for owning this tool:
Stamping with photopolymer and red rubber stamps on this hard, smooth surface leaves a crisp, clean image.
No more wasting ink when using blending brushes – wipe off excess ink on the glass mat and pick it up with the brush when you need more ink.
The included non-slip, silicone mat features four palette squares for mixing custom ink colors or for holding small ink spots in place while crafting.
Heat emboss on the glass mat – the glass is heat resistant and will protect your tabletop surface.
When coloring with Stampin’ Blends, the ink blends better. The glass surface helps keep the ink “wetter” longer, it blends better.
When watercoloring – apply ink directly from the ink pad or refill bottle directly to a spot of the glass mat. Use a blender pen or aqua painter to pick up the ink for your artwork. Wipe clean when finished.
The grid lines on the glass mat makes lining up stamps on the blocks easy. The ruler makes measuring paper a breeze. Your ruler is always right there when you need it.
The Stampin’ Glass Mat Studio includes:
GLASS MAT * 5 mm thick * 17" x 14" (43.2 x 35.6 cm) * Safety-tempered * Heat and scratch resistant * Wipes clean with water or alcohol
SILICONE MAT * 8-3/8" x 6" (21.3 x 15.2 cm) * Multiuse, non-slip * Waterproof, heat resistant * 4 palette squares for custom-color mixing or holding Stampin’ Spots * Product color: white
CLEANING CLOTH * 8-1/4" x 8-1/4" (21 x 21 cm) * Durable, reusable * Lint free * Cleans stamps and other surfaces with only water * Product color: dark gray
This week's Paper Craft Crew card sketch challenge is a doozie!
Surprisingly, I figured out pretty quickly what I want to use for those 12 images - flowers! So I dug around in my stash until I spotted the Layers of Beauty stamp set:
That flower is so tiny that you can hardly see it in the photo but I decided to ink, stamp and color it instead of punching 9 small circles.
Tip: use a pencil and ruler to help you with perfect placement.
After I stamped my flowers I colored them with the blunt end of my Stampin' Blends. The phrase in the middle comes from the Adventurous Sky stamp set and the die??? It's a brand new offer called Peaceful Season - gorgeous frame die set!
Yummy, right?
Now onto my card sketch card:
What will you create this week? Give our challenge and try and if you want to see what the other crew members created, click here.
