Hi fellow crafters! Today I have a really cool textured background idea to share. This technique will take your cards to the next level!
For my project I am using the Friends for Life bundle:
The set includes a variety of sentiments that can be used individually or together to create a perfectly personalized message. The different fonts and sizes make it fun to mix and match.
The dies feature a large heart shape with a patterned interior, which we will be using on today’s card plus a variety of smaller hearts that make cute accent pieces. Use either of the sentiment die cuts as the focal point of your card or tag. I am going to be using this leaf die to create today’s background technique so let’s get started.
To add a touch of color to my card I chose a pattern in the Full of Life Designer Series Paper pack - so yummy!
To create today's technique, please watch the video below. And watch for my bonus tips and designs ideas throughout.

Pretty card. I thought you just used an embossing folder for the background until I watched the video Visiting from "Calling Fellow Bloggers".
