Do you know what my number one FAQ is from my followers? How can I best organize my craft supplies?
If you are looking to get better organized with your crafting supplies in the coming year, you need to consider: Storage by Stampin' Up!
The photo below shows the entire system - so neat, tidy and well organized:
Here are some features and benefits of Storage by Stampin’ Up!:
Keeps products organized, tidy, visible, and trackable at all times.
Ensures that your Stampin’ Pads, Stampin’ Write Markers, and Stampin’ Blends are all stored horizontally, as recommended.
Designed to be stylish, durable, compact, stackable, and modular.
Blends in naturally with most home decor with its white neutral color.
Stacks vertically and can be arranged to fit practically any flat workspace.
Easily assembled and disassembled for rearrangement and/or cleaning.
If you are looking for one way to start your storage system here's what I recommend:
INK PAD & MARKER STORAGE TRAYS, #149168, $18.00
Why start here? Because a system to keep your ink pad and markers ready to go is perfect as you use these (well, at least the ink pads) every time you craft.
Here are the juicy details:
Set of 5 white plastic trays in one pack
Each tray stores one Stampin’ Pad and one Stampin’ Write Marker (or Watercolor Pencil)
Stack several trays together or combine with other storage products
Peel-and-stick silicone feet are included to protect your surface and prevent slipping
Each tray: 5″ x 5″ x $-1/16″
I have my system sitting on top of an old wooden storage hutch, and LOVE that everything is organized by color groupings: Neutrals, Brights, Subtles, and Regals, and easy to grab when I am crafting. No guessing anymore and no piles of ink pads falling all over the place!
Here's a video that Stampin' Up! created so you can see the essentials you need to get started:

This week's Paper Craft Crew challenge is a great way to show off your favorite designer series paper patterns:
I had so many ideas laid out on my crafting table - it was difficult to decide which way I wanted to go. In the end I chose the Take to the Sky designer series paper:
And paired it with the Adventurous Sky bundle - I love how Stampin' Up! coordinates everything for me!
After those decisions were made, everything else fell into place very quickly. Here's my card:
What paper will you choose as the focus of your card this week? Leave me a comment to let me know. And if you want to see what the other design crew members created today, click here.
Large background stamps are easy to use and can create simple but stunning card ideas.
Create an elegant background for your paper crafting projects with the Leaf Collection stamp. This cool background stamp is the perfect size to serve as the backdrop for your card making. The leaves intertwine to create a lovely pattern that’s perfect for coloring.
Tips: Add some fall colors to warm the look or go with shades of green for lovely foliage. If you want to step up the look, you can fussy cut the center leaves and use them as layering pieces.
Try this card idea using the new Leaf Collection stamp and 2 of your favorite ink pad colors.
Supplies:
Stamp Sets – Leaf Collection (163610); Simply Said (163756)
Card Stock – Garden Green (1025874); Basic White (159276)
Stamp Pads – Granny Apple Green (147095); Garden Green (147089)
Fold Garden Green cardstock in half and crease to create card base.
Ink Stampin’ Brayer with Granny Apple Green ink and apply to Leaf Collection stamp.
Ink Sponge Dauber with Garden Green ink and daub onto smaller leaves.
Lay Basic White cardstock down on top of inked Leaf Collection stamp and rub gently over cardstock to ensure all ink transfers to Basic White layer. Remove.
Adhere Basic White leaf layer to card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Ink phrase using Granny Apple Green ink and stamp onto Basic White strip. Adhere to Garden Green strip and then across card front.
Add 3 Brushed Brass Butterflies to card front to complete card.
Today I have another fun fold idea to show you - this one is perfect to use as a gift bag card or on top of a small present. It looks complicated but is actually easy to make if you follow along on my video below.
For the focal piece inside my card I am going to use the Painted Lavender stamp set.
There are so many ways to use this set. Stamp a simple bunch of lavender as a focal point, or repeat the floral images to create a wildflower field as a background. The greenery bunch is designed to work with the flower tops in an organic way, without requiring precise placement. Plus, the clear stamps make it easy to quickly align the images when stamping the flowers and greenery in two different colors.
For my card, though, I am going to keep it very simple.
I also used the Perennial Lavender paper - so pretty, right!
For my phrase layer I am going to use the Deckled Circles Dies:
Every crafter needs some basic tools, and this is one of them! The Deckled Circle Dies quickly cut basic shapes with a twist—a deckled edge! You can cut several sizes in different colors and layer them to create a big colorful circle. Cut different sizes and scatter them on your card for a fun background. Cut in rainbow colors, then cut the circle in half for two rainbows. The list goes on and on and on. Tip: showing as low inventory in my online store!
Ready to see my card? Here it is!
Here's what you need to make this card at home.

This week's Paper Craft Crew challenge was.....well....a challenge for me!
I do love a color challenge but when I have one I turn to my designer series paper for help. However, this time I didn't have any paper that matched the challenge colors. YIKES.
So I did what I normally do. Avoid. (hehe)
And then I pushed up my crafting sleeves and looked online for some ideas. I found one and then all fell into place nicely. My card is quite simple in nature - the colors are the feature and then I used my Simply Said stamp set for the phrase.
You can't have too many birthday cards, so I chose the birthday wishes phrase. I wanted the phrase to really stand out so created a feature layer for it using the Spotlight on Nature Dies:
And the images for my card came from the Translucent Florals stamp set (using Versamark ink):
As I said, my card came together really quickly. Here it is!
I hope that my idea inspired you to try this kind of layout the next time you need a birthday card. If you want to see what the other design crew members created this week, click here.
Father's Day is coming soon so today I have a fun and easy idea for you, using the new Adventurous Sky bundle:
Stamp and die cut the sketched planes to create a fun centerpiece on your cards or make the thoughtful sentiments the main focus, adding some unique texture and interest with the welded metal stamp image and cloud dies. This bundle is a great way to make cards, gift tags, and other paper crafts for the aviation-loving or thrill-seeking friend or family member in your life.
I especially love the dies in this bundle as you can construct a bi-plane without using any stamps. But for today's idea I did use the stamps and my blends - super fun!
Fold Boho Blue cardstock in half and crease to create card base.
Ink large cloud image using Boho Blue ink and stamp towards top of Basic White layer. Add medium and small Boho Blue clouds.
Ink phrase using Wild Wheat ink and stamp onto Basic White card stock. Die-cut using Spotlight on Nature small die.
Adhere Wild Wheat and Copper Clay strips across Basic White layer using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Attach phrase to bottom of Basic White layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Ink airplane image using Memento Tuxedo Black and stamp onto Basic White cardstock. Color using Wild Wheat and Copper Clay Stampin’ blends. Die-cut and attach to Basic White layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Today I have a unique twist on the basic Z-fold card. I will also introduce a new designer series paper pack that will add bursts of color to your projects. Let’s get started!
Have you seen the new Full of Life designer series paper?
This gorgeous set of watercolor designs was hand painted by Stampin' Up! in-house artisans. Choose from organic squares, circles, color wheels, and brushstroke designs for beautiful card fronts, accents, lovely layers, and more!
I won this pack at Stampin’ Up!s On Stage event and at first I was thinking: meh. But this week I have started using it and am now in love! I like that this paper can be the main focal point on your cards and you can keep the rest pretty simple, which means that card making will be a breeze. And hello: you get 48 sheets of patterned paper in one pack: 4 each of 12 double-sided designs
To create my phrase layer, I used the Simply Said stamp set - a great value as it has so many different phrases to use:
And I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies:
Here's one idea for featuring this paper, along with a video below showing you how to create this Z-fold with a twist!
Here's what you need to make this fun fold.

This week's challenge was so easy and fun for me to create.
As soon as I read the columns and rows, I knew immediately that I wanted to use the Adventurous Sky bundle:
There are 3 dies that be used to create an airplane - ones that don't require stamping - and I haven't used them yet, the biplanes and propellors. So I challenged myself to do that for my card.
I also thought it would be fun to use the Take to the Sky designer paper on my card and then choose matching cardstock for my biplane.
Here's my challenge card:
Cool, huh! I love how my card turned out.
Now it's your turn: what will you create for this week's Tic Tac Toe challenge? I can't wait to see it so please share you link in the comments below. If you want to see what the other crew members created this week, click here.

Hello fellow crafters! Today I have a super easy and very beautiful gift idea to share with you using the Painted Lavender stamp set.
You can adapt this idea for a variety of occasions too, such as birthdays, Mother's Day, Christmas, friendship or just as a simply thank you gift.
To use the Painted Lavender set you can stamp a simple bunch of lavender as a focal point which is what we will be doing today, or you can repeat the floral images to create a wildflower field as a background. The clear stamps make it easy to quickly align the images when stamping the flowers, and greenery, in two different colors.
There are so many project ideas using the Painted Lavender stamp set - here's a unique gift idea for you to try! Watch my video below for all the details and bonus tips.
Supplies
Stamp sets: Painted Lavender (162594); Simply Said (163756); Spotlight on Nature (163579)
Ink: Blackberry Bliss: Highland Heather; Granny Apple Green; Pecan Pie
Paper and cutting dimensions: Gorgeous Grape: 4 1/2" x 3" Granny Apple Green: 4" x 2 3/4" Basic White: 3 3/4" x 2 1/2"
Misc: 1 hole punch; sachet of lavender sprigs; Multipurpose Liquid Glue; Purple Fine Shimmer Gems (162611)
If you are new to Stampin' Up! stamp sets, you may be wondering how to attach the stickers to the cling stamps. Worry no more!
Attach the stickers to your CLING Mount stamps in THREE easy steps!
Remove sticker from sheet and apply to acrylic block.
Remove backing from sticker and coordinating stamp. The Take Your Pick tool works great for this.
Line up the acrylic block (with sticker side down) over the back of the stamp. It should line up perfectly. Press to adhere.
That’s it! Perfect Placement!
Note: If you have any of the old CLEAR Mount stamp sets, just stick one (or more, depending on the size of the stamp) of the Cling Adhesive strips (152452) over the sticker to convert them to Cling stamps.
