Hi fellow crafters. Today I am going to create a birthday card for one of my step daughters. She loves animals and the outdoors so I am going to use my new Notes of Nature bundle to create a card that she will connect with and love.
Create a card that has the feel of a naturalist’s field journal. The Notes of Nature set has images of leaves and teeny flowers, a page from a field journal for authenticity, and images to add stamped texture. Combine images and color them to create a verdant scene, then finish your card with a sentiment of thanks, hello, or birthday wishes.
The dies make it easy to create cards and other paper crafts with the feel of a naturalist’s field journal. Die cut leaves and flowers, then layer them for a dimensional scene. If you want to re-create the feel of a journal, use the long die—your cardstock will look like it was torn from a ring binder.
I also used the corresponding Nature's Sweetness designer series paper - don't you just love when you don't have to even think about coordination when crafting cards?
Combine these 2 products to make pretty birthday cards like this:
Here's what you need to make this card at home. Be sure to watch my video tutorial below to learn all the steps!
