This week's Paper Craft Crew color challenge seems to be all about spring and Easter....
but is it really?
As much as I love pastel colors for clothing I am not that keen on them for cards, or maybe it these challenge colors? lol Anyway I chose to think outside the box and focus mainly on Crumb Cake.
Which led me to my Notes of Nature bundle:
I also decided to do something very different than I normally do, which is a combination of dry embossing and heat embossing. And I dry embossed a layer ofPerennial Lavenderdesigner series paper, something else unusual for me.
Here's my challenge card:
Did you notice that I heat embossing the cardstock vellum layer and the phrase? Super fun and I love how my card turned out. Tip: if you want to see how I created the card, watch my Instagram Reels this week.
