This folder is beautiful no matter what color paper you use

You would think by now that I would have run out of steam for Christmas card designs, but... nope!

I am back today with a super cute idea to share, using the Trucking Along stamp set and Christmas Tidings embossing folder. 

This folder is covered with Christmas sentiments and words, with a sprinkling of festive images. Emboss cardstock and use it as a card background—it’s large enough to cover a standard card front. Or cut it into smaller pieces and use them as accents on other paper crafts. For a colorful impression, daub ink on the folder before running it through the die-cutting machine and get texture and color!

This folder is pretty using Basic White card stock but check out the look when I use Granny Apple Green - yum! 

Here's how to make this card at home.

• Stamp Pads – Granny Apple Green (147095); Pretty Peacock (150083); Basic Gray (149165)
• Misc. – Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends (154904); Paper Snips Scissors (103579); Adhesive-backed Glitter Sequins (162029); Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder (162115); Stampin' Dimensionals (104430); Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Tailor Made Tags Dies (155563); Bakers Twine Essentials Pack (155475); Mini Glue Dots (103683)

Measurements: 

• Basic White: 8 ½” x 5 ½”; 3 ½” x 2”
• Pretty Peacock: (2) 5 ¼”” x ¼”
• Granny Apple Green: 5 ½” x 3 ¼”

Instructions:

1. Fold Basic White card stock in half and crease to create card base. 
2. Dry emboss Granny Apple Green layer using Christmas Tidings Embossing folder. 
3. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere 2 Parakeet Party strips under embossed Parakeet Party layer, then adhere to card base. 
4. Ink truck image using Pretty Peacock ink and stamp onto Basic White. Ink frame image using Basic Gray ink and stamp on top of truck image. Color wheels using Smoky Slate Light Stampin Blend.
5. Ink phrase using Granny Apple Green ink and stamp above truck.
6. Ink tree images using Granny Apple Green ink and stamp onto truck bed.
7. Die-cut truck using Tailor Made Die.
8. Adhere tag to card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
9. Create White Baker’s Twine bow and attach to tag using Mini Glue Dot.
10. Add 5 Adhesive-backed Glitter Sequins to tree to complete card.
