See how to make a colorful card using only paper strips and 1 die

Do you have lots of solid color paper strips that you need to use up? I have the perfect technique for that, using the Dots & Spots die. It's super easy and you can try this idea using all of your favorite card stock color combinations. Let's get started! 

 

You can spice up any papercraft project with the Dots & Spots Die. Easily add texture and pattern to any card or scrapbooking craft with a quick pass through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Use the full sheet or just a portion of the die to add depth and dimension to a variety of projects. And we are going to add a sprinkle of spots to today's card because polka dots are simply the perfect accessory.

For my phrase I chose to use the Amazing Thanks dies - no ink or stamps needed on my card. These simple words can be added to any image to create beautiful thank-you cards and other projects.

Paper:
        Basic Black: 5 1/4" x 4"' 3 3/4" x 1 1/2" 
        Gorgeous Grape: 3 3/4" x 1 1/4"; (4) 1/2" wide pieces 
        Adhesive Sheets: 3 3/4" x 1 1/4" 
        Fresh Freesia: (4) 1/2" wide pieces; 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" 
        Highland Heather: (4) 1/2" wide pieces
