The latch card fun fold is an easy technique to learn
Hi everyone, I am back today with another fun fold technique. This super easy latch card fun fold can be used for all of the occasions that you have in the coming year. And, bonus, this layout will help you use up leftover pieces of designer series paper too.
The main feature on my card is one of the stamps in the new Hippest Hippo stamp set. These playful little cuties practically guarantee smiles all around! Stamp them individually or group them together to make your own bundle of happy, happy hippos! Add one of four fun sentiments, then customize them any way you like: color them using your favorite Stampin’ Up! coloring technique, add some embossing powder to add dimension to the ballerina’s tutu, and so much more—you simply can’t go wrong with a cute and hip hippo!
And the best part is that you can earn this set for FREE with a $50 or €65 project order! Learn more about that here.
Even though there are four cute phrase in the Hippest Hippo set, I needed a larger phrase for today's projects so I chose a phrase from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set:
The Beauty of Friendship is a stamp set to consider. You can use it throughout the year and through all four seasons. The set was designed to celebrate good times and good people. The phrases are versatile and you can layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colors you want.
Here's my card - watch the video below to see how to create it too!

Hi Ronelle,
Thanks for leaving a comment. Yes, 6/8 is the same as 3/4 - I hope you will give this idea a try and let me know how it goes.
