You don't have to be a quilter to create this beautiful 9 patch card

When my son was little I loved sewing his clothes. It was so fun going to fabric stores to pick out playful fabric patterns for him. As he grew older, my sewing passion took a turn to quilting. One of my favorite quilting patterns was the '9 patch'. It was easy to create and fun to sew all the different 9 patch possibilities.

The other day a Stampin' Up! demonstrator shared a card that was created using left over bits of designer series paper. It was a 9 patch card technique! You have got to give this technique a try. It looks complicated but it's not.

I do recommend that you use a liquid glue like our Multipurpose Liquid Glue to help arrange pieces.

The Hues of Happiness designer series paper is the star of this card!

Although you can use any phrase across the front of the card, I decided to use the 'Sending' dies from the Sending Smiles bundle:
