Today I have a lovely holiday card idea that I created using a combination of products.
First, I used the Peaceful Cabin bundle for the main image:
I have used the cabin stamp and the phrases a lot this season but not the trees dies. The dies are really cool because you can set a realistic winter scene with cutouts. Quickly and easily create die-cut trees, snowflakes, a peaceful cabin, and more. Die-cut pieces allow you to add visual interest and depth to your handmade greeting cards and other papercrafting projects. And that was my goal for this card.
Once I diecut the trees I decided to layer them onto a Scallop rectangle using the Scalloped Contours dies which can be bundles with the Color & Contour stamp set:
As I laid out my card I decided on one more element, to emboss a layer using the Merry Melody folder:
With all these elements I created an elegant but light weight (important for mailing!) Christmas card:
Here's my card from a different angle:
The next time you want to create a card, try combining elements - you just may LOVE what you create too!
