How to make a beautiful Christmas card when you are running low on supplies
Are you running low on Christmas paper and supplies and you still need to make some more holiday cards? Let me show you how to create a beautiful card idea using only one ink pad, two colors of cardstock, one set of dies, one stamp set and some other products I know you already know you have on hand.
One stamp set: Poinsettia Petals stamp set is perfect for creating a variety of holiday cards - not only the images but also the messages you can send using the phrases. Although I am not using the matching dies for my card today, they are just as amazing. You can use the frames to die-cut around the images in the stamp set or use them alone to create textured pieces.
Note: stamp set and dies are sold separately.
One pack of dies: did you know there are 23 dies in the Stitched Stars pack? You can create various custom die-cut stars with or without faux stitching and there are so many ways to use them.
Blending brushes: you can blend ink beautifully using these brushes. Apply extremely light shades of ink or create soft gradient backgrounds with no lines. Or use them with Decorative Masks or stencils: the velvety soft bristles blend ink perfectly. If you don't have these on hand, try sponges to get a similar effect when applying the ink.
Put these supplies together and here's a beauty that you can create in no time:
Supplies
Stamp set: Poinsettia Petals (158251)
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Paper and cutting dimensions: Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"; (5) 2 1/2" square; 3/4" x 4" Misty Moonlight: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"; 1" x 4"'
Misc: Stitched Stars dies (150653); Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine; Adhesive Sheets (152334); Blending Brushes (153611); Stampin' Seal

Hi Bridie, I am so happy that you like my idea and hope it helps you use up some of your stash!
I hate to buy more Christmas themed craft supplies this close to Christmas but I always run out and need an unexpected card last minute. This is a great solution without adding to my stash.
