I think it's really good to stretch our creative muscles every once in a while and this week I certainly did that! The Paper Craft Crew card map challenge is really nothing special:
Looks very simple, right? But I decided to do something quite out of the ordinary for me. I chose a left over piece of Poinsettia Place paper for the large rectangle:
Then I chose the 'black' layer next, a phrase from the Trimming the Town paper. The background was stamped using the Snowfront stamp set.
Happy so far. But the paper layer seemed so plain that I decided to stamp and color the holly leaf image from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set:
Ready to see my card? I do love it but it is waaaayyyyy out of my comfort zone.
