Today I am going to show you how to create a playing Coming Home holiday card using this fun layout idea that I saw this weekend. Stampin' Up! held an On Stage At Home 'convention' event and 18,000 demonstrators participated. We saw two new catalogs (coming your way in January), saw a bunch of new products from those catalogs and learned new stamping tricks and tips.
In one of the classes I saw this fun layout idea so decided to share it with you too. Then I will show you how to take this 1 layout and make 3 more beautiful cards!
For my holiday card I decided to use the Coming Home bundle:
I also chose three strips of left over Trimming the Town designer paper.
The card layout I am going to teach you is perfect for using up strips. At the end of my video (below) I show you 3 other cards, one of them gives you a sneak peek into the next Mini Catalog - coming in January!
Here's my Coming Home holiday card:
Stamp set: Coming Home bundle (155144)
Ink: Old Olive
Paper and cutting dimensions:
Pool Party: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Whisper White: 4" x 5 1/4"
Trimming the Town: 2 pieces 3 1/4" x 1 1/4"; 1 piece 4 1/8" x 1 1/4"
Old Olive: 3" x 2"
Other: Trimming the Town designer series paper (153491); Snowflake Sequins (150443); Fine Tip Glue Pen; Stampin' Dimensionals; Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Here's my video! I would love to know which of the cards I share is your favorite - leave me a comment with you choice!
Thanks Marielle! I love how it turned out even though it is not a layout I have used before. Have a great day back!
