For today's card and video I am going to show you the Split Circle technique and show you how this technique creates a fun optical illusion.
There are so many ways to create colorful cards using the Split Circle technique and for my card I chose to make a fun Christmas card - I have the perfect person in mind to get my card this year!
I could have stamped a phrase on the front of my card but I chose, instead, to use my Playful Alphabet dies:
I also used the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder to give texture and visual interest to my card.
You can use your favorite embossing folder when you give this technique a try. I recommend that you pick a folder that give a subtle look so that the technique is the star of your card.
What you do need for the Split Circle technique is the Layering Circles dies - a pack of dies with different sizes of circles. These circles are the main event for this technique.
Ready to give this idea a try? I have listed everything you need below and then watch my video to see, step-by-step how to create this technique.

Thanks Marielle! Please do share this technique with your daughter. I have seen so many cool ideas that are not Christmas related, which makes this technique even more fun. Have a great week back!
