Easter is coming quickly and so it's time to think of a super cute Easter card idea. I am here to the rescue with the Welcome Easter stamp set:
This is the perfect set to welcome Easter and new little ones. A baby chick, a bunny, and a lamb look super sweet on any spring-themed project. The line art images are great for basic stamping techniques; color and customize them using your favorite Easter or baby colors.
Today's card pairs the Welcome Easter stamp set with the Pleased as Punch and Subtles designer papers to add color and visual interest to the card front. - Card Stock – Highland Heather (146986); Whisper White (100730)
- Stamp Pads – Gorgeous Grape (147099); Early Espresso (147114); Old Olive (100702)
- Misc. – Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper (153558); Subtles Designer Series Paper (149615); Flirty Flamingo Light Blends ()147031); Soft Suede Light Blends (146874); Daffodil Delight Light Blends (144586); Highland Heather Light Blends (146881); Pool Party Dark Blends (144594); Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151689); Garden Gateway Dies (151512); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)
Measurements:
- Highland Heather Card Stock 11” x 4 ¼”
- Whisper White Card Stock 5 1/8” x 3 7/8”; 5 ¼” x 4”; small pieces for stamping rabbit and sentiment
- Old Olive Card Stock 2” x 1”
- Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper 5” x 3 ¾”
- Highland Heather Designer Series Paper 4” x 2 ¾”
Instructions:
- Score the Highland Heather Card Stock card base at 5 ½”.
- Cut out the Highland Heather Designer Series Paper with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (2nd from largest die)
- Cut out the “grass” using the Garden Gateway Dies
- Stamp the rabbit in Early Espresso ink and color with Flirty Flamingo Light and Soft Suede Blends. Cut out the rabbit
- Mount the “grass” on the Highland Heather Designer Series Paper. Adhere the rabbit with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Adhere the Highland Heather Designer Series Paper to the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper
- Adhere the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper to the Whisper White Card Stock and then to the Highland Heather Card Base
- Stamp the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink on piece of Whisper White Card Stock. Flag the end. Stamp the little flying bee in Early Espresso. Color with Daffodil Delight Light Blends
- Adhere the sentiment to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Add the Whisper White piece to the inside of the card. Stamp three flowers and color with Blends
