In today's video and project idea, I am going to show you a really fun way to make an Easter card when you don't have an Easter themed stamp set.
To help me make my card I used the Itty Bitty Greetings and So Many Stars (now retired) stamp sets. I love Itty Bitty Greetings because it has so many phrases for so many different occasions!
I also used some of my In Color designer series paper - did you know that you can purchase a pack of designer paper for each color collection and In Color series? With each pack you get 40 sheets of patterned paper: 4 each of 2 double-sided designs in 5 In Colors. Each sheet in the pack is 6" x 6".
As I already wrote, I used the So Many Stars stamp set for my background. This set, sadly, is retired but no worries: you can use your favorite background stamps on your card design.
Here's my card and as promised in my video, I have created a second idea with a repeating pattern. See below!
Stamp sets: Itty Bitty Greetings (151331); So Many Stars (retired)
Ink: Purple Posy
Paper and cutting dimensions: Purple Posy: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"; 3" square Granny Apple Green: 3" square Pineapple Punch: 3" square Petal Pink: 3" square Balmy Blue: 3" square Pineapple Punch designer paper: 5 1/4" 1 1/2" Whisper White: 4" x 5 1/4"; 2 1/2" x 3/4"
Here's my second card idea - one that is a bit 'softer' visually. This card uses only two colors and a repeating pattern. Which card do you like best? Leave me a comment below to let me know.
Here's my video - watch along the way for bonus design tips!

Thanks Michelle! I was so fun to make - there are so many uses for punches that what one might normally expect.
Thanks Allyson, for leaving a comment! I also usually go only for a couple of colors but this one has fun appeal. I mailed it to a young stamper and he LOVED it! Stay well.
Such pretty cards Terri!I like the first one! Thanks for sharing with us at the Snickerdoodle link party - this will be one of my features this Saturday!
They are both so cute but if I had to pick one I'd say my favorite was the one with the two colors. I tend to always go for less colors on my cards for some reason. Pinned.

Thanks Christine. I had such fun making a couple different versions of this card. And then mailed them to some of my young stamping friends.

These are so cute. Anyone would love to receive one of these. The bunny ears are just adorable.

Hi Joanne,
I agree with you - although I like my first idea, the second one seem more to my taste too. Thanks for leaving your comment!
