Today I have a unique get well idea - one that is super fun to make and whoever receives it will marvel at your crafting talent! I have already stated on a recent Facebook Live that I want to give you lots of get well ideas and this fun Timeless Tulips pot.
First have a look at the Timeless Tulips bundle - from the Mini Catalog:
This fun bundle is very versatile - it can be used for many occasions. And as I work in Holland right now it is almost tulip season although I don't think any tourists will be able to see them in the fields this year. I am not sure I will be able to see them either, sad face. It truly is a sight to behold and the center at Keukenhof has displays that would make you say 'oooh' and 'ahhh'.
Did you know that this card has a surprise element? Were you wondering how it opens? Click here to download the project sheet and to see a second photo of how this card opens. And don't miss the instructions below.

Measurements:
- Card Stock Terracotta Tiler: 8-1/2” x 4-1/4” scored at 1”, 4-1/4” and 7-1/2”
- Card Stock Whisper White: 4-1/4” x 2-3/4” and 11” x 2” strip
- Copper Foil Sheet: 3-1/2” x 3/4”
- Linen Thread: 15”
Instructions:
- Starting from the left side of white strip of card stock, stamp 2 tulips in Grapefruit Grove ink, 2 in Rococo Rose and 1 in Seaside Spray, then punch out with tulip builder punch.
- Stamp 4 leaves in Pear Pizzazz and punch out.
- Stamp 5 stems on top half of the white card stock rectangle and two leaves. Adhere a Rose, Seaside and Grapefruit tulip and 3 leaves to the top edge of the rectangle, then add the other two tulips and leaf with dimensional just in front, as shown.
- Fold Terracotta card stock in half, cut from the fold in about 1/2” out to the edge of the score line toward the top. Keep the wedge you just cut off and flip it over to the opposite side of the card to use as a guide to cut the other edge of the “pot”. Fold the top of the card down to create the “pot” (no need to glue, but could tack the top with a glue dot)
- Stamp “Get Well Soon” in center of copper strip using StazOn. Put the end strip through the back of the Everyday Label punch and punch both ends, leaving room for a circle punch on the ends. Punch holes on each end with small circle punch and tie copper plate around the front of the pot, using dimensionals to hold sentiment in place.
