When was the last time that you scrapbooked or did some kind of memory keeping? For me it has been a long time but now that I am quarantined I have pulled out all my supplies and am considering getting back into it again. It has been lovely to reflect on all the fun experiences and trips I have had and to preserve those memories before they fade.
A few weeks ago I purchased a photo printer and now I am so happy that I did because I can't get out to pick up photos. I can now spend a few nice hours choosing the photos I want to print, print them and then create pages right away.
Stampin' Up! has some supplies to help! Have you seen the Memories & More card packs?
I love the title for the card packs because they can be used for 'more' than just memories. You can use them to create cards too. Click here to see one gorgeous card idea using an overlay from the Come Sail Away pack.
Even more so, I love the unique cards and embellishments that are in each pack. They add pizzazz to pages and offer so many new possibilities.
Now be kind. Remember that I just wrote that it has been a long time since I have made a scrapbook page so I am being brave here to share one page that I created this week. I have not added journaling as yet and want to add a title (Norway) but am still figuring it out.
To create my page I used the Come Sail Away card pack, the Smooth Sailing Dies (did you spot how I made the 'flag post' for one of the photos?) and the Sail Away Trinkets. I also took one of the larger cards from the card pack and cut it apart!
Why not order some Memories & More card packs and get back into scrapbooking too? One other tip I can offer: these card packs are great for children to use for card making! Easy Peasy and you can have fun crafting together in the coming weeks.
