I am so happy that I purchased the Honey Bee bundle (page 30 Mini Catalog) because I am having a blast creating projects using it!
What makes this bundle extra special for me is the elements in the dies and the flowers in the stamp set - each can add a special touch to your cards and flowers can be colored to match any paper or coordinating products you want to use.
When Sale-a-Bration started this year, I was so excited that there is a coordinating pack of paper for this bundle! Have you seen the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper?
Any time that you see the word 'specialty' in the title of a paper pack you should know that there is something unique added to the designs. In this case it is the Gold Foil accents on one side of each design. You can see that the price shows that this paper is FREE with a $50 order (€60 in Europe)!
What was a fun surprise for me is a discovery I made using the 'honey comb' die. When you die-cut the honey comb, save the bits that you poke out, because they fit perfectly inside one of the Golden Honey paper designs!
This clean and simple card designed was inspired by a much more detailed card I saw online. Using that card as my staring point my idea took off! I stamped two bees and then the third I die-cut and popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals. I added three of the little popped out bits from the honeycomb die as my accents. Easy peasy!
I hope you will give my discovery a try! It's easy to earn the Golden Honey paper for free:
- order the Honey Bee bundle
- add the Memento Tuxedo black ink to the order ($6)
- add a pack of Daffodil Delight paper to the order ($8.75)
- and BINGO you have earned the Golden Honey paper for free!
Come on back soon to see more project ideas using the Honey Bee bundle. And if you want to see two other card ideas, check out my Facebook Live video here!
And super fun too Patti. There are a lot of little bits from this one die so these could be used in a creative way on the inside of the card too.
