Today's Paper Craft Crew card map challenge is a wish - for Spring!!! The weather this winter has been quite miserable - cold, windy and wet. So it is time to turn our thoughts and crafting towards Spring and what better way to do so than with this challenge:
So. Flowers. If you are like me you likely have a ton of floral stamp sets and designer paper patters that you already own. As the Mini Catalog was launched I immediately fell in love with the Peaceful Poppies suite on pages 24 - 27 of the catalog.
If you don't have a copy of this catalog yet, click on the photo on the right side of this page to download a copy to your device.
There is one sheet of paper in the Peaceful Poppies paper pack that is a bit of a challenge. Can you figure out which sheet? (hint: it's the top sheet in the photo below)
Recently, I did a Facebook Live showing you what to do with this particular design, along with three card ideas using it. And although all three cards suite today's challenge, I chose my favorite to share with you today.
This card was super easy! Layer the Peaceful Poppies paper, die-cut the phrase and an extra piece of Basic Black for the layer, stamp the leaf image all over the Old Olive card base (using Versamark) and the card is done! Don't miss the 5 Peaceful Poppies Sequins for a touch of bling.
If you have this paper pack, give my idea for cutting this sheet a try and see what you can create at home. If you want to see what the other design crew members created using today's card map challenge, click here and then search for PCC370.
