In today's video I am going to make a beautiful thank you card with the help of my Verdant Garden stamp set and a set of new framelits that I just received this week.
These new Stitched Rectangle framelits are perfect for the window card technique as they add a nice faux stitched border around the window, adding visual interest. The key to this card is choosing a designer paper pattern that is lovely to look at and then choosing a stamp that coordinates the paper with the card base.
Here's my card and don't miss a photo of the inside plus my video tutorial included below.
Stamp sets: Verdant Garden (149460), Love What You Do (148042)
Ink: Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz, Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper and cutting dimensions: Pear Pizzaz: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Garden Lane (149488): 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" Whisper White: 2 3/4" x 2; two pieces: 1 1/4" x 1"
Other: Tailored Tag punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Write Markers (Pear Pizzazz and Petal Pink), Tear & Tape Adhesive, Stitched Rectangles Dies (148551), Die-cutting machine
I think it is very interesting that when you open the card you see a completely different patterned paper on the inside! I also am showing you one idea for stamping the inside layer as well.
Here's my video tutorial, thanks for watching!

I agree completely, Ann! There is nothing like a handmade card. I get such a sense of calm when I craft and I love it when someone loves getting one from me.
Terri, I love your tutorial, both print and video! You have a great way of explaining what you're doing that makes it seem so easy for the viewer! I found you on the "Inspire Me Monday" blog hop!
