I use card maps a lot when I need inspiration. I use them to help me get started with a layout and then go from there. Often my final product doesn't match the map but that's ok. It was just the bump I needed to open my mind and unlock my creativity.
Lately I have shared a lot of project using the new Come Sail Away product suite:

I wanted to try an unusual layout this week, starting with a Whisper White layer on the Whisper White card base. Instead of layering my Come Sail Away paper in the center of the Whisper White layer, (which I usually do) I moved it to the right side then I positioned my stamped and die-cut sail boats on the left side. popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The center of my card was looking pretty bare so I decided to add a strip of Balmy Blue card stock, a sticker phrase from the Come Sail Away Memories & More card pack and then a die-cut steering wheel.
Here's my card! Can you tell which row or column I used from the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge map above?
Now it is your turn: try our card map challenge the next time you craft. And if you want to see what the other design crew members created, click here.
