How to do a creative change up on a card map

Isn't this week's Paper Craft Crew card map fun? Have a look at all your products and I bet you can create three different cards following the layout - and each one will look totally different. 

 

I decided to use my Best Route product suite and make a creative change to this card map.

 This map is fun as it is, but I like to be different and try force myself to think in a new way when possible. Plus, the phrase I wanted to use from the En Route stamp set is square and so that helped me make the decision to change up the map and see how it turned out. 

Here's my card using the above map - I used washi tape up the side and three adhesive-backed sequins for the embellishments.
