Color Me Happy is a hostess stamp set - you can earn it for FREE with a qualifying order. Here's how to make this cute card:
Supplies:
- Stamp Sets: Color Me Happy (144069)
- Card Stock: Thick Whisper White (140272), Bermuda Bay (131197), Basic Black (121045), Whisper White card stock (100730)
- Stamp Pads: Memento Ink Pad (132708)
- Accessories: Bermuda Bay Light Stampin’ Blends marker (144580), Bermuda Bay Dark Stampin’ Blends marker (144579), White Perfect Accents (138416), Black Permanent Marker, Black Shimmer Ribbon (144129), Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (141493), Big Shot Die Cutting Machine (143263), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)
Measurements:
- Thick Whisper White (base): 5 ½” X 8 ½”; score and fold in the middle
- Bermuda Bay: 5 ¼” X 4”
- Basic Black: 4 ¼” X 3 1/8”
- Whisper White: 4 1/8” X 3”
Instructions:
- Emboss the piece of Bermuda Bay card stock using the Petal Burst Embossing Folder and the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. Adhere to the front of the card.
- Stamp the “thank you” sentiment in Memento ink onto the Whisper White piece towards the top.
- Color in part of the image with the Bermuda Bay light marker and part of the image with the Bermuda Bay Dark image. Adhere this piece to the Basic Black card stock.
- Wrap the ends of the Black Shimmer Ribbon to the back of the black card stock piece and adhere the ends down on the back with adhesive. Add Dimensionals and then adhere to the Bermuda Bay piece on the front of the card.
- Tie a separate small piece of ribbon onto the ribbon on the card.
- Using a black permanent marker, color three of the white accents. Allow to dry for a few seconds and then stick onto the front of the card.
