Two of my team members celebrate birthdays this month and so I wanted to make a special card for each of them.
I decided to combine this need with this week's video tutorial, showing you how to create not only one quick and easy birthday card - but FIVE ideas using the same stamp set: Endless Birthday Wishes. I love the 2016-18 In Color paper stack and promised myself that I would use up all bits and pieces before the Annual Catalog retires as this paper stack will also retire.
Here's what I used to make my card(s) - you can click on any of the photos to place an online order at my store:
Endless Birthday Wishes card
Stamp set: Endless Birthday Wishes (140273)
Ink: Dapper Denim (plus Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum); Basic Black Archival
Paper and cutting dimensions:
Dapper Denim: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"; 2 1/2" square
Whisper White: two pieces 5 1/4" x 4" (one for inside the card); 2 1/4" square
Dapper Denim In Color 2016-18 (141408): 1 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Accessories: Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Layering Circles framelits dies (141705), SNAIL adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Blender pens (102845), Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (141897)
As I shared in my video, I made not only one, but FIVE cards using the same idea and all the 2016-18 In Colors!
I love hearing from you - please add your comments under this blog post!
And now for my video tutorial - thanks for watching!

This week's Paper Craft Crew card map caught my eye right away (yay, Washi Tape!) and I couldn't wait to see what was going to come of it when I sat down to create my card. First, there's the map challenge:
I didn't take me long to figure out that I wanted to use up my Inside the Lines and Urban Underground designer series paper and then I almost immediately decided to keep the tones as Grey and White. And as it is my birthday month, of course I created a birthday card for my card map creation!
Here's what I used for my card - you can click on any of these photos to place an order at my Online Store:
And now it's your turn - try our Paper Craft Crew card map! We'd love you to share your card creation over on the Paper Craft Crew site - use PCC232 when you share your card!

Today's Love & Affection card was designed for this week's Paper Craft Crew card challenge! Here's the challenge map we were given:
At first I was a little baffled as I don't have a swirl stamp anything near what is showing on the map. But...I do have the Swirly Scribbles thinlits and there is a long thinlit that could look like a branch. Hmm. I also knew that I wanted to use some Washi Tape - my resolution for 2017 is to use up my Washi Tape before it retires!
So, an idea started to take shape. I decided to use my Affectionately Yours washi tape and the colors in the roll I chose helped me to design my card: Night of Navy, Cucumber Crush and Daffodil Delight.
For the flowers I used the Swirly Bird stamp set and coordinating Swirly Scribbles thinlits and for the phrase I used the Tags and Labels framelits. My card is taking shape!
In summary, here's what I used to make my card - you can click on any of these images to place an order over at my Online Store:
