The Big Shot has taken my crafting to a whole new level and I am so thankful that I have this tool to craft with every day. Today I am going to show you how to create a beautiful Christmas card idea using your Big Shot, the Lucky Stars embossing folder and the Oval framelits:
Peaceful Pines Christmas card
Stamp set: Peaceful Pines (139728)
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Versamark (optional)
Paper and cutting dimensions:
Pear Pizzazz: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2"; 3 3/4 x 5"
Whisper White: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8"; 2 1/4 x 1 1/4" (phrase)
Accessories: Big Shot, Magnetic platform, Lucky Stars embossing folder (135817), Ovals Collection framelits (129381), SNAIL adhesive, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, Clear Blocks, Snowflake Elements (139638), Stampin' Scrub & Stampin' Mist, grid paper

As I noted on my video tutorial, after the video was completed I decided to add one more element to my card: I stamped the small snowflake all over the Pear Pizzazz window layer (using Versamark) to add some visual interest.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and perhaps it has just occurred to you that you forgot to make a Thanksgiving card to take to your hostess. No worries, I have got you covered, especially if you have purchased the Project Life Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Card Collection.
The card collection cards make beautiful (and easy!) greeting cards and here's one idea you can make before tomorrow arrives:
Simply layer the pocket card with Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White card stock, add three Basic Black strips and the card is done in a snap! Want to know where the little pumpkin embellishment came from? The Square Box Pillow thinlits dies pack. Diecut the row of three using Pumpkin Pie card stock (what else?!) and I will show you what to do with the other two tomorrow!

Today I have a departure from holiday cards to give you an idea for a little one who may be having a birthday amidst all the holidays that happen this time of year:
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Talented Trio #138750
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Momento Ink Pad #132708, Watermelon Wonder Marker (part of the 2015-17 in color set) #138333, Pink Pirouette Marker (part of the soft subtles color family) #131263
Paper: Shimmer White # 101910, Watermelon Wonder Card Stock #138334, Pink Pirouette Card Stock #111351, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper #135315
Accessories: Watermelon Wonder 1” Dotted Lace Trim # 138425, Fast Fuse Adhesive #129026, Glue Dots #103683, Stampin' Dimensionals #104430
Measurements:
* Pink Pirouette Card Base: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”
* Watermelon Wonder 5 1/8” x 3 7/8”
* Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper, 5 x 3 ¾”
* Watermelon Wonder 4 1/8” x 3 1/8
* Shimmer White Card Stock 4 x 3”
* 20” of Watermelon wonder 1” Dotted Lace Trim
* Scrap Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
Instructions:
1. Stamp the ballerina, the ribbon she’s holding, and both sentiments on shimmer white card stock as shown above.
2. Stamp the ballerina only on scrap Glimmer paper and cut out the dress
3. Tie the ribbon around the front of the dress and make a knot.
4. Color the dress stamped on shimmer white with a watermelon wonder marker, color the girl with a pink pirouette marker.
5. For the hair, use a so saffron and crumb cake marker and blend them together a little to make her hair color.
6. Attach the glimmer paper dress to the top of the image with glue dots.
7. Then, attach the ribbon going across this layer, by using fast fuse on the back of both sides of the card stock. Tie two layers of the dotted lace ribbon and trim to make a thick knot on the front of the card.
8. Attach and layer the rest of the layers together as shown in the photo above.

Gorgeous cards don't have to be complicated or use a bucket of supplies. Today I have a beautiful, yet simple Butterfly Basics card to share with you:
Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Butterfly Basics #138816, A Dozen Thoughts #131059
Ink: Black Stazon #101406, Crushed Curry Pad #131173
Paper: Shimmery White #101910, Watercolor Paper #122959
Accessories: Gold Metallic Thread # 138401, Aqua Painter #103954, Dimensionals #104430, Re-inkers Old Olive #100531, Tangerine Tango # 111841, Crushed Curry #131158
Measurements:
Shimmery White 4 ¼ x 11
Shimmery White Mat 3 ¾ x 5
Water Color Paper 2 ½ x 2 ½
Instructions:
1. I used painters tape at the bottom of the Water Color Paper before I stamped the image. Stamp in Black Stazon
2. Color in Leaves and Stems with your Aqua Painter and Old Olive Re-inker
3. Color in the Flowers using Crushed Curry Re-inker and then the Tangerine Tango over it leaving some spaces not colored.
4. Stamp the Honey Comb stamp in the top right corner with Crushed Curry.
5. Place image piece onto the mat to see where you need to stamp your sentiment and do so in Old Olive.
6. Assemble card using Dimensionals on the Mat and add to card base. Then add some gold thread adhered under the image piece with tape.
7. Using Dimensionals attach the image piece to the card.
