With the holiday season closer than ever, I have a fun idea to share - how about making your own Christmas packaging? It's easy using the Pillow Box thinlit!
Supplies:
* Stamp Sets – Reason for the Season (#139730)
* Cardstock – Home for Christmas designer paper (#139592), Real Red (#102482), Early Espresso (#119686), Very Vanilla (#101650)
* Ink - Real Red (#126949)
* Misc. – Metallic Foil Doilies (#138392), Real Red, Pompom Trim (#139617), Gold Cording, (#139618), Handheld Stapler (#139083), Square, Pillow Box Thinlit (#139657) 2.5” Circle Punch, (#120906), Tear & Tape Adhesive (#138995), Stampin’ Trimmer (#126889)
Measurements:
* 2 pieces each - Real Red cardstock & designer paper - 6” x 5”
* Early Espresso - 8.5” x 2”
* Very Vanilla - 3” x 3”
* 6” Gold Cording
* 7” Real Red Pompoms
Instructions:
1. Cut two Square Pillow Boxes from both the Real Red cardstock and the designer paper.
2. Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to assemble each of the boxes.
3. Use the Stampin’ Trimmer to cut off one end on each box.
4. Wrap the Early Espresso cardstock around the Real Red box. Secure with Tear & Tape.
5. Use the handheld stapler to attach the Pompoms and Gold Cording to the box.
6. Using Real Red ink, stamp the greeting onto the Very Vanilla cardstock.
7. Punch it out with the circle punch and attach it to the Gold Doily and then to the box with Tear & Tape.
8. Slide the top Real Red Pillow Box over the bottom designer paper Pillow Box.
9. Use Tear & Tape to close the top and bottom of the box, rather than just tucking the flaps.
