Stampin' Up! 25th Anniversary Convention

Oh my gosh, this year's Stampin' Up! 25th Anniversary Convention was a BLAST! My head is still spinning from all the events, samples and fun.

I had a couple of very special moments at Convention this year. The first was to walk across stage for earning the Getaway trip (all expenses paid for two!) to San Diego this fall. And the second was to walk across stage to celebrate a milestone: ten years as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator (with my friends Laurie and Tamie)!

My, has time flown by. When I first joined Stampin' Up! it was just as a hobby demonstrator to get the permanent discount on all the products I wanted to purchase. I chuckle remembering my resistance to demonstrating at a workshop (my school secretary insisted she be my first party) and again when one of my club members insisted she join my team (I even suggested she sign up under someone else - gasp!).

But I overcame my shyness and fear and kept looking forward and it has certainly paid off. I have met so many women across the US who I can say are my true friends. I have learned so many new crafting ideas to take my passion (uh, stamping passion that is!) to a new level. I have traveled across the US and to Fiji! And I have developed myself personally and professionally.
