Yes there is such a day and today is it: Inspire Your Heart with Art Day! And there is such truth in it too - I feel good when I craft. I relax, I enjoy the quiet, I feel inspired, I feel satisfied and I love to give my projects to others because I know it makes them feel good too.
Tomorrow Sherry is hosting a Stampin' Up! party and I have two beautiful cards for her guests to create. Both are quite simple but very pretty none-the-less. I hope you realize that cards don't have to be elaborate - simple is good. Here's one of the cards Sherry's guests will make, using the Just Thinking single stamp and Honeycomb embossing folder in the Spring Catalog:
- two colors (Midnight Muse & Whisper White)
- one embossing folder
- paper snips & adhesive
- two embellishments: Rhinestone Jewels and Whisper White Organza Ribbon
And that's it. I could (and likely will!) make a stack of these cards to use well into the year.
