Merry Moments Simply Scrappin' Kit

Ronald McDonald House

Stampin' Up! partners with Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) to bring comfort and creativity to the lives of Ronald McDonald House guests. Each year, thousands of families stay at more than 160 independently operated Ronald McDonald Houses in North America. These Houses serve as temporary homes for the families of seriously ill children who are being treated in nearby hospitals. 

We are pleased and honored to be a national sponsor of RMHC. Together, these two caring, helping organizations will create a powerful environment in which House guests will be able to enjoy creative expression in the comfort of their "home-away-from-home." 

As part of our commitment to support this organization, Stampin' Up! will:

Product Highlight: Blender Pens

If you are a beginning stamper you may not have seen the Blender Pens in the Annual Catalog ...or ... maybe you have but don't know what this amazing tool can do for you! I consider the Blender Pens an essential tool as they help me unleash my inner artist!

Here are four different ways to use a Blender Pen:

1) Dip the tip of a blender pen on to the corner of a Stampin' Pastel, then apply color to the stamped image.

OR

2) Brush the tip of a blender pen directly on the tip of a Watercolor Wonder Crayon, then apply color to the stamped image. 

OR

3) Color a section of the stamped image with a Watercolor Wonder Crayon or Watercolor Pencil. Then use a blender pen to blend color as desired.

OR

4) Press the closed lid of a Classic Stampin' Pad down against the inked pad, then open the lid. Use a blender pen to lift the ink from the small pool of color in the lid and apply to stamped image.

Googly Ghouls Bat Pocket

I  am having so much fun this fall creating a variety of Halloween 3D project ideas and am always on the lookout for new ideas to try. I recently saw a cute 3D project created by Stampin' Up!s concept artists (wouldn't that be a fun job!) that I just had to share with you! It's using my favorite Halloween stamp set: Googly Ghouls!

Instructions

1. Using the Big Shot and Petite Pocket Bigz XL Die, cut a pocket from the Basic Black Card Stock.
2. Repeatedly stamp the "Boooo" image in VersaMark ink on the front flap of the Basic Black pocket. Sprinkle Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder over the images. Heat set the embossing powder. Assemble the pocket.
3. Punch a 1/16" circle on both ends of one tag from the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit. Wrap the tag around the side of the pocket. String the Baker's Twine through the holes and tie it to attach the tag to the pocket.
4. Stamp the bat images in Jet Black StazOn ink on the Whisper White Card Stock and cut them out. Adhere the Googlies to the bats. Adhere the bats to the tag using Stampin' Dimensionals.
5. Tuck candy in the pocket.

Project 52

Today I am happy to bring back my Project 52 - the goal of which is to create fifty-two My Digital Studio digital pages each year to highlight the small moments in my life. Each page holds a memory of some fun or interesting time in my life - perhaps an event that might be forgotten over time.

Here's the page I created:

I saw this layout in a magazine and knew immediately I wanted to CASE this idea for my Project 52 page. Interestingly, I didn't use any special brush stamp sets on my page - just punches, papers, text and photos.

Sympathy Card

This is one card I really don't enjoy creating but unfortunately I needed to stamp a Sympathy Card for a friend at work. I decided to use some scrap designer series paper and my Papillon Potpourri stamp set to make this card:

This style of card is called "Clean & Simple" and it certainly is! Grab your 1" square punch, some scrap card stock and your Elegant Butterfly punch. Punch, adhere and stamp the Curly Cute phrase underneath and this card can be made in mere minutes.

Perfectly Preserved

Here's a fun card that I made with the Perfectly Preserved stamp set.....brush stamp set that is!

 

That's right, this is a digital card. I recently purchased Perfectly Preserved as a download for my My Digital Studio 2 program and have had a blast creating different project ideas using all its digital images and punches. The paper on my card is the Sweet Details designer series paper - see the digital Baker's Twine too?
