I am having so much fun with the Two-step Owl punch, creating all sort of card and scrapbook ideas for my clubs and workshops in September! If you have somehow missed this punch here it is:
In one quick move, theTwo-Step Owl punch cuts out all of the pieces you need to build an owl. It couldn't be easier to create a great accent or focal point: just punch and then layer the pieces.
Today's card idea came to me out of the blue and I got such a kick out of seeing my idea come to life:
Cheep Talkin' Owl
Stamp Set: Cheep Talk
Markers: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip
Punches: Bat, Two-step Owl
Accessories: Stampin' Dimensionals, Brights brads, Paper piercing tool and mat
I used the stamp set Cheep Talk for the branches and phrase then added the bat and owl punched images after the stamping was done. I decided to pop up the owl using Stampin' Dimensionals and the Old Olive brads as a final touch.
I hope this card brings on a smile and some creative ideas of your own! If you want more owl card ideas, become a "fan" of my Facebook Business page then look under the Photos tab. And if you and your friends want to actually create a project using the Two-step Owl punch (try before you buy!), contact me for my free dates in September and I'll guarantee a fun event for all!
Gee Jan, thanks! But I don't really consider myself creative - I loved both punches and wondered how I could put both on a card. It just came to me out of the blue.
