Here's a fun scrapbook page with colors that would match any fun event, particularly ones that take place in the Summer. I used My Digital Studio and the Hoppy Memories digital kit:
I chose a larger than normal photo box. When you add the photo, choose one that can is black & white so that the colors on the layout won't compete with colors in the photo. In most photo editing programs you have the option of taking a color photo and changing it to black & white so try that on this particular layout.
