A couple days ago I took a webinar training on my digital studio. The focus was on the Calendar creator. We learned how to add photos, change the calendar grid, add an image (like a heart on Valentine's Day) and much more. After the training was over of course I had to sit and play with it! Here's one of the photo sections I created. And for your information, the calendar sent to our printers is just like one you would hang on your wall. There is a cover page that can be designed by you, and it will hang vertically so that the photo page is up top and the calendar page with dates is at the bottom.
This took me about 20 minutes to create, mainly because I had to take some time to learn about all the embellishments available. The holly images, ribbon strips, So Saffron designer series paper and circular holly accents are all available choices to add to my calendar photo pages. Yes, I do know that the date on the calendar page says 2008– that's how far behind I am in my scrapbooking! This is just a practice page as I was learning how to add titles and embellishments, change the font color to white and so on.
Have you had a baby in the past year and the grandparents live far away? Think about what fun it would be to create a "baby's first year" calendar to send to them as a Christmas gift and how they would love a monthly reminder of their grand-baby. My digital studio will be available on October 1st! And stay tuned for many more calendar page ideas!
