Last night was the first meeting of my techniques club. The club members had a great time meeting some new stamping friends while learning a technique called Emerging Color. After the evening was over each member took home a technique card on a ring and three samples using the techniqe. Ruth was our lovely hostess for the evening and she will also earn hostess stamp sets and awards as a bonus.
Here's one of the cards the members created:
I created this card using Barely Banana, Lavender Lace, and Elegant Eggplant. The stamped images were from Teeny Tiny WIshes, Eastern Blooms, and Petal Pizzazz. The best part is the texture of the top layer - you have to feel it for the "wow" factor. And as for the technique?
Join my club and I will show you how!

That's the beauty of having a techniques club - the club members can learn a new technique every time they meet. We did the cracked glass technique last year and it was a hit with my club members.
