Have you ever looked at your stash of designer series paper and realized that nothing seems to match your creative thinking? No worries. Today's March Craft with Me Challenge (#CWMe) is to stamp your own designer series paper!
For my card I decided to use a stamp set I don't often use: Mixed Borders. It is perfect for background designs as the images are long and quickly fill up a layer. The stamp set is Photopolymer and so perfect placement is pretty easy (bonus!).
Here's what I used to make my card - you can order any (or all) of these products by clicking on one of the photos to hop on over to my online store:
I also decided my card would be monochromatic - only one color - Mint Macaron. Mint Macaron is part of the 2015-17 In Color suite and will be retiring on May 31, 2017. If you love this color don't wait to order it - I also recommend you pick up the refill so your ink pad will be juicy for years to come.
I added three strips of Affectionately Yours washi tape - two on the outside layer and one on the inside of the card to add an interesting detail and complete my design. After creating a couple of layers, and attaching two Basic Pearl Jewels, I think my 'designer series paper' card looks fabulous!
I love hearing from you - please post your comments under this blog post!
Now it's your turn - take up my challenge try try to create your own designer series paper - then share a photo of your project over on Twitter or Instagram using my hashtag: #CWMe - I would love to see what you create too!
