When I was at the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference in January I was absolutely blown away when I saw that the Big Shot could be used to create Fabric Art! One of the demonstrators had a booth display of quilts, clothing, headband, pins, and many more ideas all created using the Big Shot. I became very excited about creating a Scallop Square purse and when I returned home I bought some fabric and .... here it is:
Here's a front view of the bag:
Now I have had some quilting experience but can promise you that this purse is very easy to make! All of the scallops were run through the Big Shot to make the squares then you sew two of each together with a square of batting in between then sew the squares together to make the purse. If you have a sewing machine and can sew a fairly straight line you can make a purse too!
Here's the Scallop Square (#115950) for your Big Shot:
You can cut 8 squares in one pass through the Big Shot! It only took me one hour to make this bag and I love it so much I went out and got more fabric to make two more! Come back to my blog soon as I will post photos of my new bags for you to see.
