When the Spring/Summer Idea book and catalog came out in January, Manchester designer series paper was the first paper pack I purchased. I am a bit color challenged normally and so would not have thought of combining Baja Breeze, Always Artichoke, Kraft and Vanilla. These color combos, however, make such a soft muted scrapbook page and I can't wait to search through my photos to find the right fit.
This scrapbook page was not a design that I invented. I saw a similar scrapbook layout using totally different colors but somehow the layout appealed to me. And with the Manchester designer series paper, this layout seemed perfect for my Scrapbook club meeting last Sunday.
Here's what my club members created:
The circle elements were created using the 1 1/4" circle punch (#104403) and fitting perfectly behind as a layer I used the Designer Label punch (#107590).
My club members are welcome to bring photos to adhere while at my club meetings. Sometimes I put my own photos on a layout but most often I don't so they can imagine their own memories on the layouts I present to them.
Why not join my club or create a club with your friends and neighbors? I am happy to come to your place or you and your friends are welcome to come to my Stampin' Spot, whichever you prefer!
