    I'm a Winner!

Well, I actually achieved this "win" and I am so excited about it I had to share it with you!

    Radlogo09

For the past six months I have been tackling some challenges from one of my uplines (Jan) with Stampin' Up! and working hard to achieve some hefty goals I set for myself.

You all know how much I love stamping, but truth be told I had no idea how to go about making it the booming business it is today. Over the past four years Jan has been so supportive with advice, gentle nudges, trainings, sample ideas and even personal phone calls to help me grow my business. And Jan has also been more than willing to share her business wisdom with me, and now I, in turn, am sharing my business savvy with my growing team of demonstrators to help them be successful too.

So what did I achieve? An all expenses-paid four day stamping trip to Jan's home in PA! I achieved the same trip last year (RAD VI) and had a BLAST! Picture this: 25 stampers creating, laughing, sharing ideas and fun anecdotes, stamp camp and class ideas, non-stop refreshments, and tons of new samples to copy. Last year we all brought make-n-takes for each of us to create and once those were done we had free reign on Jan's stamping world to play with whatever we wanted to play with. Crazy, huh! Who needs sleep? Not me. Not when I have a stamping world to play in!

Why not join my team of demonstrators and have fun growing your business too. When I return from my RAD trip I will have tons of new ideas to share with you. Are you as excited as I am?WHHHOOOOHHHHOOOO!

    Animal Stories

The moment I saw this stamp set on the Demonstrator Sneak Peek preorder publication, I knew I had to have it. I love the ease of use solid stamps have - especially for a stamper in a hurry like me! Four super cute stamps perfect for baby invites, favors and scrapbook pages and perfect for cards and projects for young children (or those of us still young at heart!).

I used a card map to create my card because I needed a little creative inspiration. Here's the card map:

    C_C118

Here's what this cool stamp set looks like:

    And here's my card:

    HellobabyTerriW

Cards do not have to be elaborate to be beautiful. Add a bit of bling (glitter) and that alone packs a punch.

    Ingredients used:

Card stock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry (#115316), Melon Mambo (#115320)
Stamp Sets: Animal Stories (#116716), Teeny Tiny Wishes (#115370)
Accessories: 3/4" circle punch, 2-way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds glitter (#102023)

What can you create with this card map? We would love to see your cards too. Email me yours and it just may appear on my blog!

    Sizzix Pop-Up Ball Die

It always amazes me what one can do with the Big Shot. Today I am featuring a video tutorial created by Stampin' Up! using the Big Shot and the Sizzix Pop-Up Ball die (#116760).

Here's what the die looks like:

    Popupballdie

There are several project ideas that you can create using this unique die. This video shows how to use the die to create a cute photo cube, perhaps to show off cute photos of a new child or grandchild. Enjoy! (Oh, and by the way, that's not me in the video, it's an employee of the Home Office: Donna Griffith)

    Happy 4th of July!

    Fourth_of_july

There was a lot of excitement when two new patriotic stamp sets appeared in the 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog.

Have you seen Courage (part of Shell's Signature Collection) and Service & Sacrifice, both featured on page 67 in the catalog? And along with these two stamp sets is a coordinating wheel, called Hero. If you have anyone in the service or are patriotic at heart (and who isn't!), these sets make fabulous cards as gifts or to send to loved ones.

Now get out there and celebrate your independence!
