Last week my brother celebrated a pretty special birthday and I wanted to make him a special card to celebrate this milestone. Designing masculine cards can be challenging but an idea I spotted on a demonstrator-only art gallery (hundreds of thousands of samples!) got my creative juices flowing.
I grabbed my Holiday Cheer stamp set and created this card and matching envelope:
The Holiday Cheer stamp set is not just for Project Life by Stampin' Up!, right? If you own this fun set, try to create cards like this too.

I have an addiction to Washi Tape. I love how it looks on a card, a scrapbook page, an envelope and even a Project Life by Stampin' Up! pocket card.
This weekend I created a couple of cards to send to my son who is at University - I made a promise to myself two years ago that I would send him a card each week he is away and so far have made good on my promise. And it's been fun thinking of masculine card ideas to create and mail and I have shared many of them with you.
Here's this week's card:
I used three different rolls of Washi Tape on the card layer: Everyday Adventure Accesory pack, Retro Fresh, and Santa & Co. I die-cut the star (which I kept for a future card idea) using the Stars framelits. The phrase came from the And Many More stamp set - a great set that has many different phrases for different occasions.
If you want to create fun cards using Washi Tape, check out page 190 in the Annual Catalog for several different rolls or click on the ones below to purchase them over at my Online Store:

My sister is pretty amazing and it's her birthday this month. So I decided to make her an Amazing Birthday card that's as unique as she is:
Who knew that Washi Tape could be this much fun? Not me at first. But now I try to find project ideas using Washi Tape so I can use mine all up -- and justify buying some more! I think I like the Santa & Co. Washi Tape because it is so bright and add such a unique touch to any project I make.

Every so often one of my team members asks for a card shower favor. A card shower is when someone emails a name and address and a great reason why this person should be 'showered' with hand made cards!
This past week Jan, one of my downline, requested a super special card shower for her father who is turning 90 years old. So I grabbed my Amazing Birthday stamp set and created this card:
I hadn't used my Amazing Birthday stamp set for a while and I was so happy to create this card as it got my Amazing Birthday juices flowing and while I was at it I created three different cards using the set.
So come on back soon and I'll show you a second card idea using this fun set!
And if you want to add Amazing Birthday to your birthday stamp set collection, click the stamp set image below.
Today I have a super cute and easy to create Good Greetings Christmas card idea for you to try at home:
To stamp the background and the snowflake in the circle, I used the Bright & Beautiful stamp set. The tag was created from a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and the Angled Tag Topper punch. And I used the Santa & Co. Washi tape on the tag.
This card was easy to create and would make a fun and unique Christmas card this year. If you want to purchase any of the products I used, click on the photos below:
